As the night fell, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The pack of wolves gathered together, their ears perked up at the haunting howl of Mother. "It's time!" Luhan exclaimed, excitement evident in his voice. Without hesitation, he sprinted towards the rest of the pack, who quickly followed suit. Amidst the eager anticipation, doubts began to creep in. D.O couldn't help but voice his concerns. "Are we sure we want to see this?" he asked, his eyes reflecting his uncertainty. Suho approached him gently. "Don't be like this. You either want your youngest brother to get used to you or not," he said, nudging D.O's side. Reluctantly, D.O conceded. "Fine," he muttered, veering towards the mountains where his father, Earthquake, awaited. Earthquake, a strong and protective figure, welcomed his son with caution. "Careful," he warned, noticing a loose rock about to fall. But before he could react, the rock tumbled, catching D.O off guard. With a loud crack, D.O collided with mountain's sharp side, causing D.O to wince in pain. In an instant, Earthquake scooped up his injured son, fleeing towards Zircon, who was already by Mother's side. "You made it just in time," Mother said, relief evident in her voice as the rest of the pack gathered around her. Zircon approached, a sense of weariness evident on his face. "I tried my best to keep him away, but he insisted on snapping his jaws at my wrist," Zircon said, pointing to the bandage wrapped around D.O's snout. As Mother pulled her back leg away, revealing a white puppy with a grey stripe across his back, a collective gasp filled the air. "Where's Storm?" Mother asked, her voice tinged with concern. With a nervous voice, Storm piped up, "I'm over here. I didn't know where you were." Mother's attention turned back to her newborn, and she beckoned them closer. "Name your son," she whispered softly. Taking a deep breath, Storm spoke up. "First, before you all go to Earth to fight the bad guys, I need someone to protect my son from harm," he said, his voice filled with earnestness. Luhan, against all odds, spoke up with determination. "I will," he declared, stepping forward. Storm looked at him, surprised yet grateful. "Luhan? Are you sure?" he asked, searching Luhan's eyes for confirmation. Luhan nodded, his gaze unwavering. "To match him with you a bit, I'll name my son Sehun," Storm said, a smile playing on his lips. Emotions ran high as Luhan gently reached down, meeting Sehun's eyes. "Come, let's meet your brothers," he said, his voice filled with tenderness. Sehun, taking his first wobbly steps, followed his father as they approached the rest of the pack. Luhan introduced his brother proudly. "These are our brothers," he said, a sense of unity shining through his words. However, Mother's voice interrupted the moment of joy. "There's something important to note," she said, capturing everyone's attention. Thunder spoke up. "Yes?" he prompted. Mother sat up, her eyes filled with wisdom. "All fathers, except for Darkfeather, will go with their sons," she explained. "But, all of you will be separated from each other until you're ready to sing and meet each other." On their first day on Earth, Mother continued, they would receive a tour of the war compound. Each of them would have a pillar with their superpower sign on it, as well as the dreaded maze. Mother's words hung heavily in the air as Tao couldn't help but voice his fear. "I don't want to be separated," he exclaimed, his grip tightening around his brother Kai. Suho spoke up reassuringly. "We'll find a way to get back to each other quickly once we're there," he promised. Kris, struggling to process everything, uttered in disbelief, "I'm losing it." Chen placed a paw on Kris' shoulder. "It's okay, brother. We'll figure it out together," he said, his voice filled with camaraderie. Amidst the mix of emotions, Xiumin's voice quivered as he asked the question that haunted them all. "Will we forget each other?" he asked, his eyes searching Mother's face for answers. With a heavy heart, Mother nodded. "I'm afraid so," she said, her voice filled with sorrow.
