Chapter 7-Jack

I went over my visions with tiny, she was very concerned. We went over the possibilities of who "he" could be. In the middle of our discussion I heard footsteps outside, followed by the annoying voice of Riley. Man its her again how'd she get out of our trap. You mean the bathroom? Yeah that too, now the real question is how to deal with her... Tiny just stared out me while I had the argument in my head.

"Tiny I have to go and whatever you do don't touch anything, ok?" I said

"Alright" Tiny said with a little disappointment in her voice.

I opened the door to the study and sealed it shut. I walked through the library looking for Riley when out of nowhere she grabbed my leg from under a computer desk.

"You..." I said with anger in my voice.

"ME!" Riley replied in that ear piercing voice she knows I hate.

I wanted to get Riley out of the library asap before she found my study, after all its not to well hidden. I started thinking, what could I do to get her out of the library? Then it hit me.

"Hey Riley, come with me for a sec."

I walked to the kitchen and gave her a cookie that had been laced with a mix of ground up herbs that would make her forget everything that happened and knock her out. I then dragged her up to her room, threw her on her bed and walked into my room to go to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of Broom Closet killing a rat, he's such a good cat. I looked out the window to see Patrick going for a swim. It was about 9:00 in the morning and the lake looked very nice today. That was until I realized that today was June 13th, and that's the one day of the year you don't want to go swimming in that lake.
