"Roy,"

"What?"

"Wanna eat ice cream?" Jason asked as they watched the episode with the Druid boy in it.

"Sure," Roy answered, his focus on the TV.

Jason rolled his eyes, pausing the show and pocketing the remote because if he didn't Roy would start the show without him, before going inside the kitchen and emerging with two gigantic tubs of ice cream.

"Holy Cow, where did get them?" Roy said, eyes as wide as baseballs.

"That's" Jason smirked, putting one of the ice creams infront of him, "for me to know and take to my second grave,"

"Not funny, Hood. Not funny." Roy deadpanned, more about the 'second grave' part than anything else.

"I find it very funny, Arsenal," Jason said, still chuckling.

Roy hit him on the backside of the head, before burying his head into the crook of Jason's neck, "Don't joke about it, please...." he mumbled.

Jason's eyes widened at the seriousness in Roy's tone, and muttered a guilty "Sorry" before wrapping an arm around Roy. "I'm sorry, Roy," He said, louder this time.

Roy nodded, slowly pulling away from the embrace and getting himself more comfortable, more-or-less cuddling with Jason.

"Don't joke about it again, promise?" He said, looking square into Jason's eyes.

"Promise," Jason mumbled, curling into Roy's side.

Jason's phone rung, he picked it up, it was Dick.

"What do you want, Grayson?" Jason sighed, he really, really didn't want to help one of the Bat-Clan's member right now.

"Don't see you patrolling tonight, why?" Dick asked, his face full of worry, "Are you hurt?"

Jason rolled his eyes, "Stop being a mother-hen, Grayson."

Dick raised an eyebrow, "You didn't answer my question,"

"No, I'm not hurt, uh, Roy came to visit, I'm spending time with my best friend, any problems?"

"Wha- no! It's just that you normally show up on patrol." Dick said, defending himself.

"Then leave me the fuck alone, the Red Hood ain't helping you or the others with no criminals tonight, Nightwing." Jason growled.

"Fine, fine, if I didn't know better, I would have thought that you hate me, and want to spend more time with Roy," Dick joked.

"You don't know any better," Jason sneered, ending the call.

"You need to calm down, Jay-bird," Roy mused as he came back from the kitchen, evidently hearing everything.

"Why does he even care?" Jason asked, laying his head in Roy's lap as he stretched himself across the sofa. Roy started playing with his hair.

"Because he's your brother," Roy replied, fumbling for the remote to un-pause the show, with his other hand.

"Doesn't mean he needs to mother-hen me all the time I'm 18 and a half, I'm an adult, for fuck's sake." Jason groaned.

Roy didn't reply, before he smirked teasingly, "Best friend, huh?"

Jason rolled his eyes, "You wanted me to say boyfriend? He would give you the shovel talk, and the Bats put a very interesting twist to it." Roy paled, "I've heard some of Dick's girlfriend's talks, those were scary,"

"You did the right thing, Jay-bird," Roy said at once.

"Hmm, thought so," he said as he took some chips from the packet infront of him.
