Cover Me (A Seungin AU fanfic)

Chapter 1

"Seungmin hurry we gotta get to the car so we can get home before the snow," Hyunjin called and Seungmin grabbed his coat and joined his best friend as they moved quickly through the cold to the car, they managed and got in before driving to their shared apartment. 
"Yuri is coming this weekend is that fine for you?" Hyunjin asked and Seungmin laughed, "As if that would stop you from bringing your girlfriend over," Seungmin said which made Hyunjin smile, "I mean I could go to her place tho," Hyunjin said and Seungmin shrugged, "It's okay it's kind of comforting seeing you two together and Yuri is very nice so I don't mind," he said and Hyunjin nodded. As they got home Seungmin started to make food while listening to some music while Hyunjin was taking a warm shower since he was kind of sensitive to cold.
Seungmin had recently been in a kind of long-term relationship with a guy but they just recently broke up when the guy suddenly turned into an asshole and Seungmin found out that he was cheating, this was also the reason that Hyunjin always made sure it was okay before bringing Yuri over. Seungmin was still very hurt from what happened, Hyunjin had been ready to beat the other guy up when he found out but Seungmin told him that it wasn't worth it, Yuri and Hyunjin loved cooking together so whenever they hung out Seungmin got to rest. 

Seungmin and Hyunjin had known each other since they were around 15 which made it 11 years now as they both had turned 26, Yuri was 25 and she had known them for 5 years 2 of which she had been in a relationship with Hyunjin. They lived in Seoul, Seungmin and Hyunjin were working at a clothing store while Yuri had moved here from Tokyo about 6 years ago, she was working at a hair salon so Hyunjin and Seungmin got friend-prices there and only went there when they needed haircuts. 
Hyunjin got out of his bedroom dressed in comfy clothes, before finding the latest episode of a drama they loved to watch while eating, Seungmin joined and brought their food and they watched the episode while eating their food. After eating Hyunjin cleaned up while Seungmin took his shower, soon they sat in the living room again, Seungmin was in an armchair reading a book while Hyunjin was on his phone watching videos and texting Yuri.

After work the next day they picked up Yuri from the hair salon and bought takeaway on their way home, when they got home they watched a game show that they liked, Hyunjin cleaned up after the food while Yuri sat with Seungmin in the living room. "Are you okay Minnie?" she asked and he sighed, "Yeah," he said but he could tell she wasn't convinced, "Don't lie Minnie, something like this takes time to heal," she said and patted his back as he broke into tears. Hyunjin came back from cleaning away the foodstuff and looked at Yuri in silent communication, "Minnie, you should rest," Hyunjin said and Seungmin looked up at him tears still streaming down his cheeks and shook his head, "I-I'm fine..." he cried, "Fine my ass," Hyunjin said and placed his hand on his best friends' shoulder. Yuri and Hyunjin finally managed to convince Seungmin to go and rest, while he was resting they baked some Japanese snacks that Seungmin loved ever since Yuri made them the first time. When Seungmin woke up from his nap he felt a bit better and he smiled when he heard Yuri giggle over something Hyunjin had done, he left his room and saw the m still baking, "Hey Minnie come and taste one," Yuri called out when she saw him. He walked over and took the warm, filled pancake from her hands, it warmed his body and relaxed his mind, Yuri and Hyunjin smiled as Seungmin grabbed another before going to read his book in the armchair. "Dorayaki always does the trick," Hyunjin said to Yuri who nodded and kissed him, Seungmin loved reading as it relaxed him and let him escape his sadness for a moment. 

In the morning Seungmin woke up feeling a bit lighter and happier than the day before, he got up to make himself a coffee, when he left his room saw that no one else was awake yet so he closed the door to the kitchen to minimise the noise so he wouldn't wake them up.
He made his coffee and sat on a windowsill, watching the snow falling while he drank his coffee, he saw some morning people out in the snow, a couple celebrating the snow with a kiss, two kids building as good of a snowman as they could before their mother called for them to come inside. "Good morning Minnie," Yuris' soft voice spoke as she came out from Hyunjins' room, "Good morning," Seungmin said without looking at her, she made herself a coffee before joining him on the windowsill, they talked a little before being interrupted by Hyunjins' dramatic whining as Yuri left him alone in bed which made both Yuri and Seungmin laugh. 
"We should go out today," Hyunjin suggested as they finished their breakfast, "Oh, Minnie can you come too and bring the camera?" Yuri asked and her eyes sparkled which meant that Seungmin couldn't say no so he nodded.

They cleaned away the breakfast before getting ready, Seungmin made sure the battery in his camera was charged but brought an extra just in case, they walked around the city stopping at various places to take pictures. At one point while Seungmin was taking a photo of Hyunjin Yuri snapped a nice picture of Seungmin with her phone which she showed Hyunjin after he was done being photographed, "Minnie, I think Yuri just snapped a great new profile picture for your socials," Hyunjin said and Seungmin walked over and looked, "Thank you," he said and blushed slightly. As they got back home Hyunjin made food while Yuri and Seungmin looked through all the photos after Seungmin had transferred them to his laptop, Yuri was swooning over the pictures of Hyunjin which Seungmin found adorable. When she finished choosing the pictures she wanted Seungmin sent them to her after lunch Hyunjin got to choose some as well, "You're such a great photographer," they both said and Seungmin blushed again which made them laugh. The weekend went too fast for their liking and soon it was Monday, Seungmin and Hyunjin drove Yuri to her job before driving to theirs, "Shouldn't you ask her to move in?" Seungmin asked Hyunjin as they were unpacking some stuff in the back of the store, "I want to but would you be fine with that?" Hyunjin asked and Seungmin smiled, "We could also move to a bigger apartment so that I have more space of my own," Seungmin suggested and Hyunjin liked the idea. Seungmin also thought that he could live alone but as things were now he knew neither Hyunjin nor Yuri would allow it, after work Hyunjin talked to Yuri and Seungmin had never seen her so happy and after that all of them went to an agency that had apartments for rent to look at options.
