Seungmin was alone at home, he was packing his stuff for the move, Hyunjin and Yuri were getting the keys to their new bigger apartment as Seungmin was packing he found stuff that reminded him of his ex he threw them out until he came to a letter that his ex wrote to him while they were still happy. When he saw the letter he broke down in tears, Hyunjin got back alone as Yuri had to go to her place and pack as well, when he entered he heard Seungmins' sobs and instantly ran to him. Hyunjin saw the stuff that was thrown away and then he saw the letter, "Minnie..." Hyunjin whispered and kneeled in front of his best friend who was sitting on the floor, Seungmin shot forward into Hyunjins' arms and buried his face in Hyunjins' chest. "Shh, Minnie you're okay," Hyunjin whispered and held his friend tight, it took a while for Seungmin to calm down but when he did he stayed in Hyunjins' arms a bit more, "Can... Can you throw this I don't know if I'll be able to," Seungmin asked and Hyunjin sighed, "You should throw it but I can go with you," he said and Seungmin agreed to that. Seungmin grabbed the plastic bag in his hand and Hyunjin supported him as they walked out to the bin outside, Hyunjin watched as Seungmin threw the bag away and all the stuff in it but when Seungmin turned to go back inside Hyunjin pointed at the letter which Seungmin was still clutching in his hand, "That too," Hyunjin said and took Seungmins' other hand. As Seungmin had finally thrown the letter away and Hyunjin had made sure he hadn't saved anything else they walked inside to get food, Seungmin struggled to eat but thanks to Hyunjins' comforting presence he did manage to eat some food.
Later that evening Yuri came over as she had finished packing as much as she could today, they decided to move in the coming days and she made some snacks for Seungmin since he still wasn't feeling great after finding the letter earlier.
A couple of days later they had finally finished moving into their new place, Yuri and Hyunjin were out on a date night and Seungmin was alone he was feeling hollow, he hurt all over but there were no physical wounds, "Maybe physical wounds would help..." Seungmin whispered to himself as tears fell once again from his eyes, he had no history of self-harm or depression. Hyunjin would probably describe him as a carefree puppy for most of their lives and this was the first time something hit this hard for Seungmin who found himself in the bathroom with a razor in hand. 1... he stared at the blood, 2... more blood it somehow calmed him, 3... the pain was searing through his arm, 4... he felt himself go weak and after the 5th one his world suddenly turned dark, "I'm sorry Jinnie," he whispered before he passed out.
Yuri and Hyunjin came home and while Hyunjin went to change clothes Yuri went to fill up a bath for them as she thought Seungmin was sleeping, a panicked cry reached Hyunjins' ears and he rushed towards the source when he reached the bathroom he saw his best friend on the floor with blood flowing from his arm while Yuri was crying and shaking while she tried to stop the bleeding. Hyunjin wasted no time calling an ambulance before he helped Yuri clean up Seungmin and throw the razor away, "Minnie... Why?" he whispered while hugging Yuri as they watched Seungmin being rolled into the ambulance.
Seungmin was rushed to the hospital, Hyunjin and Yuri went up to clean up before they went to the hospital too, they sat in the waiting room waiting for news, Yuri was sitting on Hyunjins' lap with her face buried in his neck while still crying. After an hour a doctor waved for them to follow him, he took them to the room where Seungmin was on a bed still not awake, "He's going to need a blood transfusion, "Check us," Yuri cried in desperation. "If anything check her, Seungmin and I already checked in case one of us would ever need it and we're not compatible..." Hyunjin sighed, the doctor took a blood sample from Yuri but came back shaking his head. Yuri broke down even more when she heard the news that she was also not compatible with Seungmin meaning she couldn't save him.
Jeongin was walking with his nurse down some corridors and soon he got tired and sat in the wheelchair, as they walked a bit more he heard hysterical crying from a room, "What happened?" he asked the nurse, "A man came in today and he's in need for a blood transfusion but his two friends aren't compatible and no one else is in reach," she said as she had heard the news. Jeongin listened to the cries and they broke his heart, he had never heard anyone cry like that, "Check me," he said with zero hesitation and the nurse looked at him, "Are you sure?" she asked and Jeongin nodded, "I-I don't want them to cry like that anymore..." he said and the nurse drove him to the room and called the doctor there. Hyunjin and Yuri looked up at the sound of people entering, Hyunjin saw a boy in a wheelchair with a nurse as the doctor entered again, "This boy has agreed to be tested to see if he can save your friend," the doctor explained and both of them looked at the trio with wide eyes. The doctor took a blood sample from Jeongin and left, "What happened?" Jeongin asked carefully, "He... He hurt himself..." Hyunjin whispered and Jeongins' eyes went wide, "I'm Jeongin," he introduced himself, "I'm Hyunjin, this is my girlfriend Yuri and that is my best friend Seungmin," Hyunjin introduced them to the boy.
Soon the doctor came back, "Mr Yang, you are compatible and you have the power to save this man if you want to," he said and Jeongin nodded, "Yes... Yes, I want to save him," Jeongin said and the nurse looked like she was on the verge of tears as she saw Hyunjin and Yuri break down in gratefulness. "Let's do it then we have no time to lose," the doctor said and called a team that took Seungmin to the room where transfusions happened, Jeongin was taken there by the nurse, Hyunjin and Yuri went to the waiting room again and just waited anxiously.
After an hour the nurse came to them, "You two should go home and rest, your friend will be fine but this can take a while," she said softly, "Come back in the morning," she said and they nodded and reluctantly they left.
