Brigid POV

"Oh don't worry about me, darling, I'm only here because they won't let me go." I point to Lilith and Lucifer, who were stood there with slight demonic smiles.

I watch as Vaggie's eye grows larger. I laugh, "No, it's okay! They are harmless."

"Oh I'm sorry," Vaggie starts, "But, your accent."

"British, isn't it..." Lilith ponders before growling and waggling her eyebrows, "Delightful."

I turn and face the older blonde woman, "You said you would stop." I say admonishing her.

She pulls me close to her, by my waist, "I'll stop when I finally get you into my bed." She purrs in my ear. "But alas, you are anothers." She pushes me away, towards the younger girls.

"Is she, like, your second mom?" Vaggie asks Charlie.

Charlie laughs, her bubbly, happy laugh, "Oh no! She's, she's just," she stops before looking me in the eyes, "Brigid."

I smile, my heart falling a little, "That's me, just Brigid." I walk towards the door, looking back at Vaggie, "Welcome to the mad house, Vaggie." I turn and make my way up the stairs towards my bedroom.

Lilith POV

I look to Luci, after the red head has left, to see him with a frown on his face. I move closer to him, running my fingers through his hair.

"She'll be okay, my darling, come, let's retire." I say, holding my hand out to him, he smiles at me and grabs my hand. "Charlie, I am trusting you to show our new guest around. Stay clear of the third floor." I demand, giving her a look.

"That means they are going to have sex." Charlie stage whispers to Vaggie.

"That means!" I raise my voice, "Do not go on to the third floor."

Charlie lowers her head. "Yes, mother."

The Next Day

Brigid did not leave her room at all, for the rest of the day yesterday. Me and Luci tried to enter later that night but the door was locked. I heard Charlie try and go in there but there was no answer, no bed time kiss. My daughter is an idiot, she gets that from her lovable father.

I am sat at the dining table, my husband at the head, while Charlie and Vaggie were at the other end of the table, talking, whispering and giggling. I shake my head and turn to watch my husband fiddle with one of his ducks.

He masters his finishing touches, turns to me with a great big smile, holding the duck up to me, "Look, my love, it's you."

Sure enough, it was a duck, with long blonde hair, black crown, horns and never forgetting the pearl necklace.

I smile, scooting his chair closer to me, rubbing my nose against his, "You are precious." He blushes, smiling, he lays his head on my shoulder.

I look over his head and see Brigid, standing there in her silk and lace nightgown, red hair all a mess.

"My beauty! Come sit, breakfast is served." I say joyfully, gesturing at the spread on the table.

I watch as she lazily walks, shuffling her feet in her white ducky slippers, a gift from Luci, slumping into the seat beside him, opposite me.

"You don't get a spread like this in heaven!" Luci exclaimed, "Adam is just lazy!"

I watch as Vaggie's head shoots up from whatever Charlie was speaking about and stared at the busty redhead.

"You were in heaven?" She asks, hurriedly.

Brigid turns tiredly to the pale purple girl, "Yes, it was only for a day. Adam didn't like that I had my own thoughts."

"Adam's only thought is Lute jumping on his dick! Am I right?" Luci laughs, nudging Brigid with his elbow.

"You're not wrong, LuLu." Brigid hums to him, making him wiggle in his seat happily. I could tell he was happy just to hear her voice.

"Brigy had an idea, a purgatory, for those who are not saints but not sinners." Charlie explains, smiling at the redhead, hope in her eyes, for some recognition. I just sat back and watched it all.

"I believed all my life that I was a sinner because I was a lesbian but when I died, I turned up in heaven, being told that a little bit of lesbianism isn't going to send me to hell." Brigid explained looking at Vaggie, I could tell her eyes were trying their hardest not to look at Charlie. "I went to the angel court and spoke my piece, that was when Adam decided he needed to get rid of me."

"And now she is here, a big part of this family." I state, jumping into the conversation. "Which reminds me, my beauty, the club is low on bartenders, could you please help out?" I ask, fluttering my eyes at her.

She smiles at me, " Of course, Lili, anything for my queen." She stands up from her chair, gliding over to me, "I'm assuming, they need me now?"

"If you can, sweets, that would be amazing. I'll be down there this evening." She nods and leans down to kiss my cheek, I hold her there and kiss her cheek back. She moves to Luci and kisses his cheek, to which he blows one in hee direction.

I look in Charlie's direction, her shoulder deflate, she looks at the table with a frown.

"Is she really not your two's wife?" Vaggie asks, just staring at us, wide eyed.

I laugh, "Maybe in another life." I look at my daughter, who was looking at me, I pull out the chair next to me and pat it. She moves to the seat, wrapping her arms around my waist and laying her head on my chest.

"My little love." I sigh, squeezing her.

"I don't know what to do, mama." She whispers.

"Maybe, next time, we don't call her 'just Brigid', hmm?" I say, knowingly.

She looks up at me, eyes watering, "I didn't mean it badly, she is the best thing that's happened in this house. I mean you and dad are actually talking and being loving to each other again." She sighs, "She has been nothing but supportive and nice and amazing an-"

"And another good descriptive word in the dictionary." I interrupt, "You just have to say your sorry and fast. Your father can't handle this much bad emotions in the house."

We both look at Luci, who was making another duck, one with red hair and a frown on his face.

"You're right, mama, I need to say sorry."

I hug her tightly, "I'm always right, you should know this by now." I kiss her forehead, "Now, I have to go, I am meeting Carmilla and Rosie for some tea." I stand from my chair, "Luci, my love, what are your plans today?"

He looks up at me and half heartedly smiles, "I will be in my workshop, love."

I nod, cupping my hand under his chin and pulling it towards me, "Good, don't work yourself too hard." I kiss him sweetly, making him melt. "Charlie, don't burn the house down. Vaggie," She looks at me fully alert, "Look after Charlie."

She nods, "Yes, ma'am."
