EVERY ENCOUNTER WITH Joanna is literal torture.
I dont know how we came to this level of hatred but I can only tolerate about 5 minutes of her before I want to put her in her place.
There's no way im going to English first period. Over my dead body am I going to hear her non stop talking for an hour.
THUD
"Oh shit! I- Joey?"
"VERONA! Watch out. Body slamming into me isn't very wise."
"Acting as if your king of the school, I see I see."
"I practically am-"
"Oh yeah?" No way this dude thinks all that about himself.
"Babes want me, agencies want me. I could get anyone. That makes me king of the school."
What is this dick saying.
"Sure, sure" Why am I even entertaining this conversation.
"Look, man wait. I'm gonna offer you money, to help me."
I turn to leave, "Right of course."
"I want Bianca Stratford, but-"
I pause. Stopping myself from walking.
"Look that storys touching, really. But I don't care."
"40. To start dating Joanna." Pleads joey.
"Joanna?! I can't date Joanna."
Why is he asking me to do something stupid like that.
"Man, you're the only one that can talk to her, without pussying out halfway. 40. To date Joanna."
"40? Make it 60 and I'll try." I joke.
"Really? Deal." Joey steps forward and grabs my hand.
The moment was so quick. Why did I joke about that, I can't date Joanna.
"Later buddy." Joey laughs.
She was right. He's both a dick and a pig.
What the fuck did I do.
Joey means it and I shook on it. I can't 'get' Joanna. I hate her.
I dont remember when the hatred formed but I remembered when it started showing.
Picture it. Cafeteria, we're 11.
Joanna and Kat walk in all smiley. I seem to remember Joanna had a purple dress on. My friend starts flicking peas at Joanna. After that I zone out.
Next thing I know, Joanna's launching chocolate cake directly into my face. BOOM. food fight.
To this day I dont remember that situation, well what caused it. All I know is: she blames me.
We were both in trouble after that. We continued to pull silly but serioupranks on each other, which definitely didn't help our school reports.
Even after all of our prior issues, I shouldn't have shook Joeys hand.
