Peter got home after dropping off the permission slip at Ned's house and wasn't too surprised when he saw Harley in the kitchen waiting for him with a cup of coffee. Peter obviously knew that Happy told Tony and suspected that Tony would tell Harley. Even if Tony didn't, Harley would still find out either way.

"Hey darlin', anything happened you wanna talk about?" Harley spoke in his southern Tennessee accent, which made Peter love him even more.

"Harls, let's just not talk about this now. I bet you already know," Pete said in a slightly annoyed and tired tone.

Harley knew about the field trip and suspected that that was the reason Peter was so moody. He decided to lay off for now but reminded himself to talk to Tony about the field trip later since all he wanted to do right now is figure out a way to get his boyfriend happier and more alive.

"C'mon darlin'," Harley said as he led Peter to the couch in front of the big screen. "Why don't we watch some Star Wars, or we could watch one of those educational videos Grandpa Capsicle did when he was younger?"

Harley knew the right ways to cheer Pete up because Peter's favorite movies are Star Wars and would literally watch those movies again and again till a new one came out. And an explanation for the "education" videos by Grandpa Capsicle (Captain America) is that Peter hates Rogers with his entire soul after what happened in Siberia. (explained in the summary).

Harley stayed with Pete for the rest of the night, watching movies till Pete fell asleep. Harley picked the small boy up and carried him to his room so he could have a better night's sleep. Harley went to his room after carefully tucking Pete in with a good-night kiss. Tony wouldn't let them in the same room after curfew because of how protective Tony was of Peter.

The next morning, Pepper was making breakfast because Tony wasn't allowed to cook after the baking incident where he blew up the oven. She also had the time off to make something before her meetings.

Peter woke up to FRIDAY's speakers: "Boss has sent a message to Mini Stark, AKA Mini Boss, AKA Bambi, AKA Spiderling", "Pete, if you don't get up for school, I'm taking away your Harley privileges. Also, Pep made pancakes, so you better hurry up since they'll be gone soon," projected Tony's voice.

As soon as Peter heard pancakes, he jumped up from bed and picked random clothes from his floor, which seemed to be one of Harley's hoodies that he stole. The hoodie had 'Keener' on the back with a sports team number because Harley used to play lacrosse back in Tennessee.

"Morning, Mrs. Potts!" Peter said it enthusiastically, but only for the sole purpose of getting more pancakes.

"Morning Pete, and how many times have I asked you to call me Pepper? Why do you get to call Tony, Dad sometimes or even Tony and I stay as Mrs. Potts?" Pepper said a little annoyed, but in a joking way.

"I'm just doing it out of respect for Mrs. Potts; don't take it personally. Now that you're the owner of Stark Industries, you're in a higher position with more respect." Peter said simply, "And Tony would be mad that I started calling you Pepper earlier than I stopped calling him Mr. Stark."

Tony walked right when he heard Peter say, "Mr. Stark."

"Pete, didn't I tell you to stop calling me that? Did something happen?" Tony said it jokingly and chuckled a bit after seeing the surprised teen's face. "Don't worry, Pete; I heard your conversation. It's fine; I know what you meant. Seriously. It's fine if you start calling her by her first name. Pete, we're literally living under the same roof. Also, Harley left for school."

Peter's school starts later than Harley's, which means Harley goes out really early and comes back earlier than Peter. From Peter's point of view, he thought Harley wouldn't be on the field trip to embarrass him or mess with him. But the truth is that Tony told Harley's school that he was going to leave early for his internship since it was allowed, which made him able to be there for Peter's trip. Tony made Harley as the tour guide just so he could keep an eye on Peter and make sure he is comfortable and enjoying himself.

When Peter finished his plates and put them away, he quickly got his bag and shoes, running down to the parking garage to beg Happy to take him to school. He was already late, and as he learned the day before, he would be even later if he swung his way to school. Happy decided to be generous, but just for once, since he knew that Peter had the field trip, since he was security, and knew Peter would be in hell during the trip.

When Peter got to school, he got through his first class quicker than he expected, since it was cut short for the trip. All the kids were chatting on their way to the bus, talking about what they might see and how Peter might get into trouble. Even Ned was there, but instead of talking about the trip he was praising Peter for getting him a permission slip because if Ned missed this trip, he would die.

This was shorter than the first one, since it was 936 words. But to make up for that, chapter 3 will be longer or split into 2 different chapters.
