After they finished lunch, Harley took them to the elevator to take them to the 5th floor, where the Q&A will be. He held Peter's hand the whole walk, just in case something would happen, since Harley wasn't very fond of Mr. Harrison.
When they reached the room, Mr. Stark was already sitting in the middle on a couch, surrounded by chairs for them to sit on. As the kids entered the room, he smiled when he first saw Peter.
"I'm Tony Stark, as you all probably know. And of course, you guys can also ask questions about Iron Man, not just me. Do know that depending on your questions, you might not get an answer." Mr. Stark said, directing his attention to Flash and Mr. Harrison, since Harley had informed him that something was "off" about them.
A ton of people started shouting out questions till Mr. Harrison tells them to say one at a time. Most of everyone asked questions about Iron Man; some asked questions relating to how Tony became famous and things like that. But when it got to Flash, he just had to ask, "puny Parker should get kicked from the tower. Shouldn't he?"
Peter facepalmed himself while Tony answered with a stern look, "Why? Is something the matter?"
"He's been spreading rumors about having an internship here, which is obviously not true since Parker can't do anything right," Flash said snarkily.
Tony looked a little protective, which worried Peter that Tony would go off on Flash, but as he was about to intervene, Mr. Harrison decided to make this situation even worse.
"Would you also like to take legal action? Because Peter here had printed your signature to sign his permission slip and other slips that needed parental signature."
Tony's eyes widened at that question and statement but he had the courage to respond, "Well, Peter, here is my intern and my son-in-a-way. I sent new documents proving I'm the parental figure for Pete since his aunt died."
Peter flinched when Tony mentioned his aunt, which caused Harley to walk over from the sidelines and give Peter a hug while sitting down next to him, holding his hand. But Mr. Harrison stood wide-eyed, quickly trying to answer, "We didn't think - Peter didn't say," but as he was trying to respond, Tony kept cutting him off.
"Why didn't you believe the papers? They were legal and signed; he couldn't have got those anywhere else. And why would you think he would want to talk about his newly deceased aunt and only parental figure?" When Mr. Harrison only responded with a blank stare, Tony took it as a sign to continue and stood to look at Flash now. "For your information... What's your name, kid?"
"Flash sir." he said, wishing he didn't speak since Tony was kind of intimidating (wow, I wouldn't have thought he could be either).
"I know that's not your real name. No one in their right mind would name their kid Flash. FRIDAY be a dear and tell me his real name?" Tony asked, completely changing his mood into a sweet tone while talking to FRIDAY.
"His name is Eugene Thompson, Boss." FRIDAY responded politely, which still scared Mr. Harrison a bit.
"Well, Eugene, to inform you, Pete does actually work here, and he also lives here too, so he won't be going on the bus back to school along with Ted and MJ. Back to the topic, Mr. Eugene, Pete is the best and smartest intern here, along with being my personal intern.
And he is way more reliable than most of the people in this room, along with you. So, no. He will not be kicked from this building, but you might. Seeing the names you've called him and the things I've picked up from FRIDAY." Flash looked concerned, but he was trying to look intimidating since his class was still here.
Peter was snuggling into Harley while sitting on his lap, since he couldn't handle talking about his aunt. Harley stayed silent, but with a worried face, and ruffled his hand through Pete's hair.
Tony was ready to get this over with, "I think your field trip is over now. Can you please get out of my building before I have the security escort you out themselves?" This caused the class, along with Mr. Harrison, to start fleeing the room, with Marco standing outside waiting to take them down to the lobby. Tony quickly called out before they all left, "Ted and MJ! You guys can stay here for movie night. Just call your parents and tell them that you're staying here."
Ned and MJ stayed for dinner, which was just to eat Chinese food, which isn't bad, it's awesome.
When everyone went to school the next day, nobody bothered to say a word since their permission slip that they had signed said they were not permitted to talk about any of what happened. Flash did not bother anyone that day, and Mr. Harrison just ignored Peter and tried to stay clear of him.
This is officially the last chapter. I hope you guys liked the story! This was about 834 words long!
