"You good there, darlin'?" Harley asked Pete, concerned. Pete just silently nodded and continued walking, trying to ignore everyone behind him.

As they got to their destination, Harley faced the class and announced that this was their first spot to tour, which was the exhibition hall with prototypes and statues. Ned quickly grabbed Peter from Harley's grip and dragged him over to the statue of Spider-Man, with MJ trailing behind them.

"Pete, you're seriously afraid of spiders? How? You're literally Spider-Man. It should be illegal for you to be afraid of them!" Ned said it, completely unaware that MJ was behind them.

"Try being deadly sick after getting bit by one of those, and let me know how you feel about them," Peter said, trying to prove his point while blushing with embarrassment.

MJ approached them right as Peter finished his sentence, and Ned started praying; she didn't hear anything he just said. "What are you losers up to?" she said, even though she already knew, since Ned wasn't a very quiet talker.

"Nothing much. Just admiring the statue while Ned fangirls." Peter tried to change topics while receiving a glare from Ned when he said fangirl.

"I wasn't fangirling at all! I was just admiring it, dude." Ned said in a defensively joking way.

MJ just stood there while the boys argued until she saw that the room looked completely empty except for a few of the boys and Flash. As her gaze moved across the room, she spotted where all, or at least most, the girls had gone. It was Harley. They all had gathered round Harley, trying to question him like it was some crime scene.

Right as MJ saw Harley, so did Peter, and he looked pissed, which was weird for Peter because didn't he just meet Harley? She had suspected that there was something between them when Harley grabbed Peter's shoulder, but she wouldn't have suspected him to be so protective yet not go over there to help him.

Peter didn't move an inch because he knew too well that if he moved and went to Harley, there would be a lot of commotion since it was empty and the halls echo.

Harley saw Peter stalking him from across the room and knew that he would be jealous, and it was best if Harley would just get out of the situation.

He moved to look back at all the girls in front of him, "Guys, a little personal space," before he could finish his sentence the girls bombarded him with questions that he wouldn't answer, "I'm not going to answer your questions except for that I am already taken so just back off and let's continue this tour, shall we?"

After he spoke, most of the girls left because they knew he was taken, but some just wouldn't leave and didn't believe that he actually had a lover.

"Let's move on to the next part of the tour before we have lunch and Q&A." Harley said in his dreamy western accent. Again, Mr. Harrison tried to take Peter aside, but again Harley side-eyed him with a glare and took Peter again but by the hand, which gave an even worse amount of attention from the girls.

Peter and Harley walked side by side, holding hands, which gave Peter a sense of security and gave Flash a warning to back off. Which, thankfully, Flash ignored Peter for the rest of the trip.

When they arrived at the lab, some of the interns who were working there or came to help waved a hello to Peter and Harley. As the whole class got into the room along with Mr. Harrison, Harley went on to explain the activity.

"This is going to be a team build to find the team with the closest result to real spider-man web fluid! You guys can pair yourselves in a team of 2 up to 4. And if you need any help with your build, you are welcome to ask some of the employees who have their names on their badges."

The beginning was going smoothly, except that almost everyone except for Peter, Ned, and MJ had needed help on how to start their experiment. Flash and his group had managed to get into a sticky situation (get what I did there) and had to start over again, which made some of the kids laugh but quickly shut up after Flash looked at them.

Of course, Peter's team won because he was on it and knew exactly how to make the fluid, since he was the one who made the original.

As they were leaving, Harley asked Marco, one of the helpers, to lead the class to the cafeteria and said that he would be there shortly. Marco left quickly, and as Peter was about to follow with the class, Harley pulled him back into the room.

"How is the trip, darlin'? Are you enjoying it so far? Also, that teacher of yours is really a prick!" Harley said, sounding annoyed.

Peter gave Harley a peck on his cheek and responded nicely, "The trip is going nice... so far. I know you have something planned for later, and I don't know when. Besides, I know he's anxious, but you have to learn to live with it, Harls."

Harley was annoyed at his teacher but eventually let it go, kissed Pete, and then led him back to his class, who were eating in the cafeteria.

Harley sat with Peter and his friends, holding Peter's hand beneath the table or putting his arm around his boyfriend's waist. They weren't bothered for a while, since Mr. Harrison had to keep the girls away from Harley while he tried to enjoy his peaceful lunch.

I didn't have time to finish the last part of this chapter but wanted to upload something soon so there will be another chapter, but it won't be as long as these ones. It will mostly just include the Q&A and when they leave + maybe an aftermath. I hope you guys enjoyed this part.
