Hannah, a young heiress navigating the treacherous currents of wealth and expectation, lived a life meticulously crafted, yet strangely devoid of genuine connection. Then, like a storm breaking over a tranquil sea, Yoongi, the internationally acclai...
Hannah sent me a message, and my hand vibrated with excitement as I checked my phone. It was a photograph of her in Seoul with her friends at our "Love Yourself" concert. I was overjoyed that she came to see us perform live. I had already planned something for us later.
Dating was never easy when you were an idol. Our every move was being monitored, and cameras were following us wherever we went. Hannah and I were just friends, and I preferred to keep our relationship private. I did not want to make things difficult for her. But deep down, I knew that my feelings for her were much more than just friendship.
Since I met her, the mere thought of her has made my heart race. Her messages kept me going when everything seemed to be falling apart. She was my source of light in the dark. I had been dealing with some emotional and mental issues and I was working to resolve them.
We did our routine before the concert and placed our hands on each other. I averted my gaze as I had always done.
My eyes sought Hannah's position in the crowd. When she noticed me looking at her, she smiled and waved her lightstick and a small banner with the words "Yoongi, marry me" written on it. The members noticed this and teased me about it.
We performed on stage as if our lives depended on it. The happiness of our fan base, the Army, was our top priority. The fact that they were happy and enjoying themselves was the highlight of our concert.
After the show, I dashed backstage to freshen up before meeting Hannah. I had planned a dinner for us in a VIP room at the hotel where she and her friends were staying. It would be more convenient for her, and the elevator to the VIP room was accessible from the basement parking lot, lowering the likelihood of paparazzi spying on us. The room was reserved in the name of one of our bodyguards.
Jungkook called me while I was getting ready and asked if I was meeting Hannah. I said, "Yes," and Jin Hyung said to tell her that they had said hello. I quickly collected my belongings and waved goodbye to them.
My heart was racing while I waited for Hannah. This was our second meeting, and while we messaged each other almost every day and spoke on the phone once in a while, nothing beats seeing and talking to her in person.
The view from the room was breathtaking. The city lights reminded me of stars, and I felt as if I were in the sky.

I'm wearing an all black formal suit and carefully combed my hair back, leaving a few strands hanging on my forehead. I was not used to wearing formal clothing, but I wanted to look good for Hannah.

I took a deep breath to relax as I waited for her. I stalked her account, and when I found out who she was, I felt unworthy of her. She had it all. If she demanded something, she could get it. She was a princess, living a life that many people could only dream of. Me? I'm just Min Yoongi. I grew up as a regular guy from Daegu who had to work hard to achieve my goals. The only thing I could offer her was my genuineness. I fell for her the first time we met, despite knowing nothing about her. Now that I had gotten to know her better, I fell even harder for her.
I was falling for her, but I was afraid I would lose her. I admired her sassiness, kindness, empathy, and candor.
I appreciated how she listened to me. But I was afraid that my feelings would jeopardize our friendship.
The sound of the door creaking snapped me out of my reverie. When our eyes met through the glass wall, my heart skipped a beat and my breathing came to a halt.
She looked ethereal in her peach deity dress, and the heels she wore accentuated her petite stature.

I made a slow turn to face her. She smiled, and I had to stop myself from running to her and kissing her. "Okay, Yoongi. Get yourself together!" I reminded myself internally.
"Hi, may I ask where Min Yoongi is?" she asked.
"Oh, he bolted out the window," I quipped.
"Is he able to fly?"
"Maybe. He is probably sulking somewhere because I am having dinner with a lovely lady instead of him." We both found our conversation amusing.
"You do not look so bad yourself." She is looking me over.
I gave an awkward laugh. I felt like a high schooler in front of my crush.
"Shall we?" I inquired as I moved the chair for her. Our meals were prepared in the room's own kitchen by a chef. Hannah's favorite dishes were all displayed in front of us.
This day could not have been better. We had a successful concert, and now I was on a dinner date with the girl I would always desired. Nothing else mattered to me more than having her close.
What if she did not feel the same way and began avoiding me? But a voice inside my head told me I would not know unless I tried.
"It is gorgeous out here," Hannah exclaimed. We are now on the balcony, admiring the view.
"Yes, especially with you," I replied, gazing at her.
Something in my voice must have piqued her interest enough to turn and look at me. That was when something profound struck me. Without thinking, I bring my face closer to her. To see if she will move away. She did not. When our lips met, it felt like sparks were flying around us. I gave her a long, passionate kiss. I am putting all of my feelings for her out there and hoping she feels the same way.
