Hannah, a young heiress navigating the treacherous currents of wealth and expectation, lived a life meticulously crafted, yet strangely devoid of genuine connection. Then, like a storm breaking over a tranquil sea, Yoongi, the internationally acclai...

I jolted awake. Hannah's voice called out my name, loud and clear. I look around my room, feeling disoriented. My chest felt heavy.
I awoke to my alarm clock reading 3:30 a.m. This means it is only 2:30 a.m. in the Philippines. Hannah could still be awake. I remembered that her parents celebrated their wedding anniversary last night.
Her phone kept ringing. I called her several times, but no response. Worry began to rise from my feet. Each hair on my body stood up. The heavy feeling persisted.
I have not heard from Hannah in nearly a month. There is nothing in her daily-updated Twitter feed. Her last post was one month ago.
I started overthinking. "What if she changed her mind and no longer has feelings for me?" My heart felt squeezed tightly.
"Yoongi?"Someone called, but I felt like I was underwater and could not hear them clearly.
I felt a nudge and was pulled back into the present moment. Everyone in front of me is staring at me. "Oh," I slap myself internally. We are in a meeting.
"Yoongi," Bang PD said with a serious expression.
I had never before tuned out of a meeting like this. I am losing focus.
"Yoongi, I promised that I would never interfere in your relationship with Hannah, but I believe I must this time." Only Bang PD and I were left in the meeting room.
"Mianhaeyo, Bang PD-nim," I answered.
"Do you need a break?"
I shook my head, saying no. I needed the diversion.
"Get your head back in the game, Yoongi."He spoke standing up.
He then dismissed me. When I reached our car, I raised my hand to prevent the others from questioning me.
I tried contacting Hannah again. If she does not respond, I will muster the courage to ask anyone. Possibly her sister. I might jeopardize the privacy of our relationship, but I needed answers.
I messaged her and waited. Then I noticed Hannah was typing. She has finally responded. My heart rate has skyrocketed to the point where I can barely breathe.
"Don't worry, I'll bring her to you." - Helene.
What? Hannah's phone is with her sister. Fear crept into my body. "Did something happen to Hannah?"
However, she never responds again.
"Hyung? What happened? Namjoon stood at my door.
I showed him my conversation with Hannah's sister. Namjoon's expression was filled with worry, too.
A few days later, I got a message saying they had arrived in Seoul. Helene forwarded me their current address.
Our car entered a modern villa. The driveway was lined with trees, providing shade from the sun. We were astounded by the house that caught our attention.

Helene meets us in the living room. She looks like Hannah, but she is slightly taller and leaner.
"Hi, wow!" She greeted us warmly. "BTS in the flesh. I can not believe my sister is friends with you all. "She is not even an army."
Her gaze landed on me. She stepped forward and hugged me.
"Hannah is inside the room." Helene informed us. "There is something I need to tell you before you go meet her." She led us to the sitting area of one of the rooms. She told us earlier that this is one of their father's Korean properties.
Helene was quiet for a moment. I can see the emotions in her eyes. I noticed a tear well up, but she quickly wiped it away with her finger. She looked up to stop the tears from falling.
"Hannah almost got r*ped!" She dropped the bomb.
My throat tightened as my breath caught. All of us were speechless. That is why Hannah had not contacted me in over a month.
"Who did it?" Jungkook quietly ask.
"My husband,"Helene said. "Or soon to be ex-husband. Our annulment is being processed. "That is, if they find him."
"What do you mean?" I inquired.
"He escaped prison." She breathed deeply as she spoke.
"Hannah experienced trauma. It is not just because of what could have happened if she did not have such quick reflexes. Your call saved her, Yoongi." She said, looking at me.
Anger is an understatement for the storm that is raging inside me. I would k*ll that asshole a million times if I had the opportunity.
"Tell us more, please," Namjoon asked. "Is there anything we can do to help her?" he continued.
"Ronnie admitted to k*lling several of Hannah's friends." We all look at one another. Eyes widened. "He believed they were attempting to steal Hannah from him. Hannah never met him, but he claimed he saw her at a party. That's when he fell in love with her."
"But he married you," I asked, perplexed.
"He married me to get closer to Hannah." She sighed deeply before continuing, "Hannah was friendly with him at first, but he always behaved strangely around her, so she began to avoid him. He keeps taunting Hannah just to get her attention."
"He was obsessed with Hannah," Jimin noted.
Helene nodded. Hannah blames herself for her friends' deaths.
"Where is she?" Helene looked at me. I can't wait any longer. I want to see her and hold my Hannah.
"Don't sneak up on her." Helene cautioned me."She'll freak out." I nodded at her to indicate that I understood what she was saying.
Helene directed me to the second floor of the massive home. Hannah's bedroom is the door on the right, facing the backyard.
The white door with Hannah's name on it caught my eye right away.

I saw her sitting on a couch by the window. I called her name quietly as possible. She slowly turns towards me.
She rushed up to me as soon as she saw me and tightly wrapped her arms around my waist. I hugged her tight as I could. I could not stop crying when I felt her body collide with mine. I felt relieved to be holding her again.
