The Alibi

We were called at the headquarters early in the morning. Jimin is grumbling about messing up with his sleep. I guess he went to sleep late again last night.

We all piled up inside the van. Jungkook sat in the back and started snoring as soon as his head hit the backseat. Our brain is still foggy from sleep.

"Do you have any idea why they called us so early?" Jin hyung asks our driver.

"I don't know. They just sent me a message to pick you guys up and send you there." He replied.

Bang PD was already seated inside the meeting room. His back was to the door, but he turned around when he heard us walk in. 

As soon as we were all seated, he passed me a photograph. I looked at him first, then at the photograph.

It was a photo of me outside the airport. Some paparazzi must have noticed me and took the opportunity to take a photograph.

"What are you doing in the airport at 2 a.m., Yoongi?" Bang PD questioned me.

" I went to dropped a friend,"

"Who?" he asks again, this time with a slightly annoyed expression.

I remained silent. I was relieved that I dropped Hannah off just a few meters from the airport's entrance. I just stood there and watched her leave. She sent me a message before heading to check in. She did not even look back at me. We were that cautious around public places.

"Yoongi, I can not help you unless you tell me something. Rumors will circulate widely.

I coughed to clear my throat. Worry is starting to creep up in my brain. "What if they saw Hannah getting out of my car?" I ask myself in silence. "Is there another photo, or is this the only one?" I inquired.

"No, this is the only one. Now, tell me, what are you doing at the airport so early in the morning?" He asks in a more serious tone.

"I went to drop a friend."

"Who?"

"Hannah Choi."

I couldn't read the expression on his face when I told him Hannah's name.

"Hannah Choi? Choi Baek-hyun's daughter?" He exclaimed.

I nodded. It's no surprised that he know Hannah's father.

"Yoongi, do you know Choi Baek-hyun? He was extremely protective of his children! Do you even know what you are doing?" He stood up and started pacing.

"I'm serious about Hannah." I responded truthfully to him.

"Do you know this?" His gaze moved between each of the other members."Namjoon?"

Namjoon nodded. Bang Pd let out a sigh.

"What could be the possible story they can come up with that photo?" J-hope
asks Bang PD. "It's just Yoongi standing outside the airport." He gave it some thought.

"You know how vile they are. They will try to create something out of nothing."

We all remain silent. Everything Bang PD said was correct. Particularly if the paparazzi who took the photograph was a hater.  

Jungkook raised his hand. We all look at him.

"What if we go to the airport at the same time tomorrow that Suga hyung was there?"

"Continue," Bang PD said when Jungkook remained silent for a moment.

It was Taehyung who added an idea,"We will bring someone with us from the staff to pose as paparazzi and snap a picture of us."

Jimin getting the idea chimed in, "and make it look like we just went there randomly."

Jin interjected, "Yeah, it will appear to be a spontaneous idea we had. The army was aware of our erratic and insane behavior."

Namjoon added,"then we go straight at the convenience store, buy noodles and eat there!"

I was already laughing inwardly at the thought. It will give the paparazzi the impression that he did not do his job properly. 

"Yoongi," Bang PD called for my attention. "I am not going to intervene with your relationship with Hannah. Just be careful next time."

"Thank you, Bang PD-nim." I bowed slightly towards him.

I texted Hannah when we got back home and told her what happened. She inquires whether or not she was also in the photograph. I paused and realized she was in the background. Her face was obscured by her hoody, so no one would know it was her.

I also told her about the idea that the other members had come up with. Hannah sent me laughing face emoji. Thinking about it made me laugh, too.

Our photo from the airport and convenience store quickly went viral. Armys have already turned them into memes and began sharing them.

There were other news outlet that caught up with it making it more sensational. Fans began showing up at the airport and purchasing all of the noodles from the convenience store.

Hannah did share the memes on her social media account too. She was amused at the alibi we made.

Our craziness and randomness can come in handy in situations like this.

I had already started missing her. I will not be able to see her again for a long time. She will be traveling for a few months, and I will be working during that time.

I had never considered being in a long-distance relationship before. Keeping it a secret is another matter. I adore Hannah and would go to any length to be with her.

I understand the consequences of my relationship with Hannah. You can not blame the heart, right?

I messaged Hannah, "I miss you!" and send her a photo of myself.

A minute later, she replied with a heart ❤️ and kiss 😘 emoji.

She also send me a photo of her.

"Looking gorgeous!" I responded.

"You're only saying that because you adore me, Yoongi-si"

I waited for her to finish typing before responding.

Her message caused me to be concerned. I can not do anything because it is her parents' wedding anniversary party. All I can tell her is to be cautious.
