Writer's POV
"Kunti, what seems to be the cause of your silence?" Pandu asks as we takes a seat on the floor next to his fist wife.
"Oh nada, I would desire a female child, so does Madri. Would it be in your interests to attend to this request of ours?" Kunti asks as Pandu slowly shifts his gaze to Madri. Her eyes held a desperate desire filled with hope. Pandu reluctantly agrees. Both Kunti and Madri rejoice. As they head over to the area where they had their other five children, Madri says the mantra upon Kunti's que, a bright light glows, and barely are able to squint their eyes. Lord Vishnu appears, they all fold their hands into a namaskaram. Lord Vishnu begins to open his mouth in order to speak, thunderous rains shower through the skies, all three of them were soaked.
He hands Madri a child as he states, "Indulekha! A peak of curiosity and resilience. But, her other half is what makes her strong. You may not understand now, but, you will in the near future." As he says that, he manifests another child. He hands it to Mardi once again. "Agnileka! The definition of beauty and intelligence. But when anger shall rise, this anger could possibly shake the three worlds. Their anger combined could kill, murder and potentially end the existence of mankind." He says, strictly warning them. He stares as he sighs, then he vanishes into thin air.
Overjoyed by the fact that they not only had one, but two female children, they didn't think much of Lord Vishnu's words. They return to see the boys who were all ecstatic to see their baby sisters. Yudhisthira gently holds Indulekha while Arjuna holds Agnilekha. Bheema, Nakula and Sahadeva bring soft leaves and cloth to place the children.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The girls are now 5, Nakula and Sahadeva are 8, Arjuna is 10, Bheema is 14 and Yudhisthira is 16. Agnilekha was with Arjuna who was practicing archery. Indulekha was playing a board game with Nakula. Kunti was with Bheema in the hut/ house. Yudhisthira was with Sahadeva.
Agnilekha POV
"Bhrata Arjuna?" I call out innocently, as I stand up.
"Yes Agni," He asks, turning his vision from the target to look me in the eyes.
"Can I try?" I ask softly, knowing he would say no.
"No Agni, you're too young and it's dangerous for a young girl like you to play with." My blood boiled. Maybe we were in a different yuga but that doesn't change any of my viewpoints of this world. I'm a girl, so what!? I decide to play a little game. I smirk internally, girls can't do archery!? I disappointedly go and sit back down on the rock I was sitting on earlier.
"Okay bhrata..." I say in a disappointed and dejected, dull tone, barely audible at all. I manage to choke up a few tears which slowly stream down my face. I stare at his with my doe eyes as he looks over his shoulder with pity. Eventually, he gives in and holds both my hands, I whine like a little child (which I kinda was) and wiggle his hands off me. Before he could react, I close my eyes and perfectly hit the target. So, I still have all the skills that I had in the Kali yuga!? COOL! Bhrata Arjuna stares at me in shock, I act like nothing happened, like always but then realize this kid doesn't know me, Kali yuga-afied! Oh crap! I quickly start to jump up and down before plopping myself onto him, "BHRATA! DID YOU SEE THAT!? I DID IT!" I say in an extremely excited, high-pitched voice.
"Y-yes! Yes! Agni! I saw that! It was amazin-" A loud scream from Madri mata interrupted him. I knew, but, I couldn't change anything. It finally happened, the epic has now begun.
