A/N: HIHI! I thought it would be a good idea to just expand a lil bit about Melody's life especially for my lil spider-byte series we got going on 😚

So, picture this: I'm an Afro-Latina girl, born and raised in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. My mom, Ariella Myers, is a total powerhouse. She's the CEO of this mega skincare company, always hustling and bustling, making deals like it's nobody's business. And my dad, Malachi Robinson, he's a brainiac scientist at Alchemax. Yeah.

Now, you'd think having parents like that would be all glitz and glamour, right?

Wrong.

It's like they were married to their jobs or something.

Family time? Ha, what's that?

When they weren't jetting off to seal some mega business deal, they were drowning in paperwork or glued to their laptops at home. And if by some miracle we did get together, it was never a cozy movie night or a chill barbecue. Oh no, it was always some fancy-shmancy event for business big shots.

Don't get me wrong, it was great having everything I could ever want (materialistic things), but it was seriously lacking that warm, fuzzy family vibe. The house was like a museum, all polished and perfect, but missing the chaos that comes with real life and a real family.

School was a trip too. I was surrounded by kids whose idea of struggle was not getting the latest iPhone on release day.

Meanwhile, I was just trying to get my parents to notice me for more than a hot minute. They'd shower me with gifts, thinking that would make up for the lack of quality time. But no amount of designer clothes or flashy gadgets could fill that void.

And let's talk about those 'prestigious events.' Man, I had to doll up like a princess and pretend to be interested in business talk. It was all handshakes, fake smiles, and small talk with people who probably couldn't even remember my name.

But you know what? Despite the craziness, I learned to be independent.

I became a pro at navigating the concrete jungle of Brooklyn, finding my escape spots when I needed a breather. Music became my sanctuary. I'd drown out the chaos with my headphones, exploring the city, one song at a time.

So here I am, Melody Analíz Myers, the girl with the hectic childhood and the crazy successful parents. It's been a rollercoaster, but I've learned to dance to my own beat in this whirlwind of a life.
