the light we don't see

sometimes we
get caught
in our tangled
and messy
lives
and we
dig a hole
that we can't
crawl out
of.
believe me
I have been
there.
if you haven't
been
there
you will probably
get there
because that is
just life.
however in the
midst of all
of our
madness
there is light
that seeps
through the
darkness.
that light
is Jesus
Christ
who is able
to destroy
the voids of our darkness
breaking us
free.
even though
we can't
see
Him
He is always
there
pulling us out
of our monstrosities
and casting His
holy light over
us
when we need
Him
most.
