♡ v-day special: love ♡

"I so beat you B."

"You so did not !" Blake opens the door for Shu to walk in first, before shutting and locking it behind them.

"I so did !" the shorter of the couple spins to wave the karaoke sheet in Blake's face, eyes wide with certainty.

The sheet did, im fact, show that Shu had a significantly higher score than her in denial girlfriend. Blake just responds with a dramatic eye roll and helps Shuhua with her coat, hanging their clothes on the rack by the door as the the other skips into the living room, singing to herself happily.

This was Blake and Shuhua's first valentines day together, and after just finishing 3 weeks of promoting, all Blake wanted to do was spend some time with her girl. Even though Shu was in the heart of promoting, she's been a little under the weather lately and has halted her activities in order to get her health back into tip-top shape.

Blake knew the best thing for the both of them, was to get away from it all for a bit. So, she called up her brother and asked if she could stay in his house in Busan for a few days, and that's where they're spending their off time together.

With Shu not being fully recovered yet, the couple hadn't done very anything wild for their first V-Day together. It was filled with calm sweetness; a café date in the morning, take-out and gift exchanging midday, and they ended it off with some beer, karaoke and fried chicken. Blake was just on a high all day with all the smiles Shu had been sporting all day, the sight a forever serotonin boost.

Joining Shu in the living room, she finds her curled up on the couch, clutching the stuffed panda bear to her chest as she cooes and swipes through the array of pictures they took today.

"Ah, look at this one ! Cute !"

The screen gets turned just as Blake sits down beside her girl, and she's greeted with herself with the biggest smile she's ever seen on her face. It was snapped seconds after receiving a vinyl of Niall Horan's 'The Show' album.

"Come here."

And not wasting a single second, Blake can lean into the soft leather of the couch with a head nuzzling into her neck, the distinct aroma of strawberry filling her senses.

"Did you enjoy today ?" Blake picks up the remote to switch on the TV.

"It was the best day ever. I haven't felt this loved in a long time, so thank you, B." Shu's words tugs at Blake's heart, her finger pausing on the remote.

She turns to stare down and connect their gazes, and the swirl of emotions sitting in the eyes she gazes in makes her choke up. Blake knows the idol life is not for the weak, but Shuhua has it especially tough. She's hates seeing her struggle, and she absolutely despised the foul things she's seen people say about her online, as if they know the first thing there is to about Yeh Shuhua.

A wave of honor washed over Blake.

She's honored to know the Chinese girl, really know her. Know all her tells, her likes and dislikes, her favourite movie to watch when she's down – but above all, she's honored to call Yen Shuhua hers.

"I love you, Shu."

The girls eyes turn glassy with shock, her fingers curling tightly around the knitting of Blake's sweater.

"Like, a lot, and I never want you to feel unloved or unwanted ever again," rising a gentle hand, Blake cups Shu's fair cheek, the pink there especially evident because of her pale tone. "And I don't care how busy our schedules get that can't even be on our phones, because I will always find a way to express my love for you. I don't need words to do that."

Blake presses a longing kiss to her forehead, he thumb running sweet strokes on her warm, bashful cheek.

"Thank God I went with you to pick out Phoebie that one weekend," the pair break out into soft giggles, the memory of carrying the orange tabby kitten back to the Itzy dorm a forever special memory in their heads.

"I love you, so much B."

Shu pulls her down for a fierce and passionate kiss, their emotions morphing. Their heart adore being so close and they burst with euphoria, their bodies basking in the warmth of the other.
