"I'm hungry." Tsa'vi broke the silence.
"Same." Anor agreed.
I also agreed. It would have been smart to bring food with us.
"Maybe there is fruit," Vokan spoke, "that we can eat."
The look on Anor's face said that he didn't like the suggestion. "I don't know." He says, "How do we know the fruit is not poisonous?"
"At least when we die, it's with a full stomach." Tsa'vi said.
I was starving, and the more they talked the more I felt the hunger. I need to worry about food after I've found a place for us to hide. Not now.
"I'm starting to feel a little nauseous." Anor said, "I don't know if it's because I'm hungry or because we will likely get caught or both."
"We won't get caught Anor." Vokan says, "We just ran, I don't know how far. But we ran very far and fast. We just need to rest."
I could feel Vokan's eyes on me. I ignore him. He is always trying to be the boss. But he isn't.
"Can she even hear us?" Anor asks.
"Obviously." Tsa'vi says, "She must be in some... mood. You know her."
I didn't like how she said that. Like I was stupid and demanding.
"Zari'a?" I hear Vokan say.
Again, I ignore him.
"Zari'a?"
"She must've left her hearing aids behind." Tsa'vi jokes.
Anor laughs.
"Her voice too-"
"Can you two cut it out?" I snap.
"Can we rest?" Tsa'vi says, "Like Vokan said, We have been running far and fast. We have been walking forver. At this point we should just go back for food."
"Do you think if you walk back to them they will willingly hand you food because you are hungry and tired from running away from them?" I ask.
"So what if they kill me? I'm still going to die if I don't have food." Tsa'vi tells me.
"Zari'a." Vokan grabs my attention. "We need to rest. I know you want to get further away but we won't make it any further if we don't eat."
I consider his words. So does my stomach.
"Fine." I say.
Tsa'vi and Anor share happy sighs.
"But first we need to find a cave or-"
Tsa'vi and Anor share annoyed sighs.
"Zari'a." Vokan says, "Let's eat first and then worry about where we will sleep, okay?"
I look at Anor and Tsa'vi. They look terrible. "Okay."
Tsa'vi and Anor start a fire, while me and Vokan search for food. Animals or fruits.
"You should collect fruit and I will kill something to eat." Vokan tells me.
Again he is trying to be my boss.
"No." I tell him, "You get the fruit and I will kill."
Vokan shrugs. "Alright." And hands me his knife.
I try to be as quiet as possible when I see an animal drinking water from the river. I hide behind the bush, waiting for the thing to get closer.
The animal got a little closer but hesitated... like it knew where I was.
I jump and run up to it before it could get away. I push the freaky thing down and stab it right in the chest.
The body was heavy for me and because I've refused to eat the past few hours, I am very tired. So I drag the animal to the fire.
Vokan came back with some fruit. We cooked the animal and ate it with the fruit Vokan collected.
The food was very good and I was quickly full and ready to sleep.
"Could we sleep in the trees?" Anor suggested.
"We could." Tsa'vi says, "But you are a roller so you can't. Sleep on the ground." She suggests.
"Are you kidding me?" Anor says, "Anything could be out there. When you wake up and try to find me, I will be dead."
"Boo hoo."
"Anor is right." Vokan says, "Anything could be out there. We aren't safe and need to find a cave or a bigger tree."
"We don't have to sleep together." I say, "We can sleep in different trees."
"I'm not sure I am okay with that." Anor seems so afraid. It's almost pathetic.
"Let's just keep walking." Vokan says, "We might find a better place to rest."
The sun is gone and so is our energy.
There is lots of different noises but nothing we can see.
"I'm starting to regret this." Anor says.
"We should sleep in two." Vokan suggests.
"Shotgun Vokan!" Anor sides next to him.
I give Anor an evil eye. I don't want to be stuck with Tsa'vi.
"Okay then." Vokan says.
"What if I want to sleep next to Vokan?" Tsa'vi says.
"Well you can't because I am." Anor says.
"But I would feel safer with Vokan." Tsa'vi says back.
"My reason for why I chose him." Anor says.
"Well can't you just-"
"How about Tsa'vi and Anor, you guys sleep together and I sleep with Zari'a." Vokan suggests.
"Nope." They say at the same time.
"I'm tired." I couldn't care less of how much they disliked me that they couldn't even sleep next to me.
I climb the tree while Tsa'vi and Anor were still arguing about who sleeps with me and Vokan.
Eventually Tsa'vi lay down next to me.
It was quiet now and I tried to sleep. But I couldn't sleep. I felt this pull on my back that didn't allow me to fall asleep.
I turned around. Opened my eyes and saw the pull, Tsa'vi.
I don't know what happened between us. But it happened. All we have is each other and I'm willing to die for them. Even if our bond isn't as strong anymore.
We are all we have.

Saving Pandora (Avatar Fan Fiction)
FanfictionInspired by Avatar Frontier Of Pandora and Avatar The Way Of Water. The story line is very different. The characters in the movie are aged up. This is also a romance and there will be an 18+ scene. If you don't like that then don't read this (or do)...
