“Boss Vlad is here.” I heard over the walkie as we were loading the SUVs with weapons.
“Let him and his men through, he needs the latest update on his daughter.” I replied back.
“They are on their way down the drive now.” I heard.
“This is the last of it.” James said.
“Ok. Get that footage up Vlad is here and he needs to see it.” I said as I grabbed my gun and checked to make sure it was loaded just as my daughter came skipping over to me and I threw my gun and clip on the back and quickly shut the door.
Not wanting my daughter to see the guns and other weapons in the SUV I was at.
“Hey princess, what are you doing here?” I asked.
“Daddy can we go get ice cream?” Mikayla asked.
“Not right now princess. Daddy has some work to do. Maybe when I get back it's not too late. We can go.” I said.
“Promise we can if it is not too late?” Mikayla asked.
“I promise princess. But if I'm home late we will go get ice cream tomorrow after lunch.” I said.
“Ok Daddy. I love you, be safe and come back home please.” Mikayla said.
“I will princess, I love you too. Now go on a play with bubba and your nieces ok.” I said.
“Ok daddy.” Mikayla said and kissed my cheek and ran off to find Kyle and his kids.
I sighed and reopened the back of the SUV just as Vlad showed up.

“Why do you guys look ready to go on a warpath?” Vlad asked.
“Lizzy lost the baby and Palo is gonna kill her.” I said.
“What?” Vlad asked and James walked to Vlad and showed him the tape.
As soon as the video was over, rage filled his eyes and I don't blame him. He quickly grabbed a bullet proof vest, a hard helmet and gun from his vehicle. Xander stood confused with McDonald's in his hands and a few fries sticking out of his mouth.
“Xander sweetheart. Why don't you come inside and help Kyle with the kids.” Abigail said.
“But if this is about my sister I wanna help save her.” Xander said.
“They have enough men and you probably would throw up your McDonald's so come on I'm baking cookies.” Abigail said and Xander was won over on the cookies and ran right in.
“That kid loves cookies and is expert on what is inside them with our knowing Lizzy blind folded him one time to see if he knew that cookie he had in his mouth and the ingredients that was out in. She gave him the nasty cookies and the most delicious. That damn kid can tell you how much of what was put into a damn cookie without knowing and can make them in his sleep.” Vlad said.
“So he is a cookie genius.” Victoria said.
“He is and it is scary sometimes.” Vlad said.
“Alright enough about my son and his weird ass cookie thing he has let's move before that fucker kills my daughter.” Vlad said and jumped into the passenger seat of my SUV.
“Well ok then.” Max said in shock.
“ALRIGHT EVERYONE LOAD UP WE HAVE FAMILIES TO SAVE!” I yelled.
With that said we all loaded up.

At the location where the Mexican cartel leader is.

“Is this the location my daughter is at?” Vlad asked as we all stood behind the vehicles.
“Yes and Victoria’s family is here too.” I said.
Just as Vlad was about to speak, Victoria came back to my SUV with a livid expression on her face.
“Somehow we got lucky and found the leader roaming the area we were hidden in to scout for a better vantage point. We knocked his ass out and brought you a gift Vlad.” Victoria said as one of her men dragged an unconscious body into view and dropped it in front of Vlad.
“tie him up and drug him. This fucker is mine later today.” Vlad commanded and spat on Palo.
“You heard the man?” Victoria said and her men did as told.
“Alright now that we have the leader. Let's ambush the place. Vlad you're with me. Our Group is finding Lizzy.” I said
“Ok.” Was all Vlad said as he looked at the warehouse.
“Let's go, everyone you know your positions.” I said.

After the killing because I'm too lazy to type it.

“Where is my daughter?” Vlad asked as he opened the doors in the hallway we are in.
“Boss. I found her.” I heard at the end of the hall.
Vlad and I ran down the hall and into the room where Lizzy was indeed in.
“Jack, find a blanket.” I ordered.
“Lizzy princess, it's daddy.” Vlad said in a gentle voice.
Lizzy didn't move but her eyes did. When her eyes landed on Vlad tears ran down her cheeks.
“Hi princess. I have been looking everywhere for you for months. I know you're in no shape to speak or move but can you blink to let me know you're ready to go home?” Vlad gently said in questioning as he undid her bindings.
Lizzy blinked rapidly.
“Alright princess, we will get you out of here. This is daddy's friend Kyler. He helped me find you. Your brother is at his home baking cookies with his wife. Do you wanna go see your brother?” Vlad asked.
Lizzy blinked rapidly again.
“Ok sweetheart you will see him but first can we get you checked by the doctor at kyler's private hospital. He has a nice lady doctor who will check up on you. We just need to know what condition your body is in ok.” Vlad said.
Lizzy blinked again but tears kept on streaming down her face knowing she is now safe. And hope was back in her eyes.
“Here boss I found a blanket.” Jack said.
“Thank you, you and the rest of the men go help get the other families free and into the bus that just arrived a few minutes ago so they can be transported to my private hospital.” I said taking the blanket.
“Will do boss.” Jack said and left.
“Here Vlad.” I said, handing him the blanket.
“Thank you.” Vlad said.
“You're welcome.” I said and stepped back as Vlad covered his daughter.
“Can you call Xander from my phone and let him know Lizzy is found?” Vlad asked, handing me his phone.
“Of course.” I said taking it seeing it is already unlocked. I hit the phone icon and saw Vlad was 5th from the top recent calls I hit and placed the phone to my ear.
“Hello dad, did you find her?” Xander said as soon as he answered.
“Xander it's Kyler, your dad wanted me to call and say Lizzy is found. We are gonna get her loaded up in the SUV and bring her to my private hospital here soon along with everyone else.” I said.
“Oh thank god.” Xander said.
“Xander her stomach is gonna be small and she won't be able to eat any solid foods. Why don't you and Abigail make her some soup? That way she can get something in her stomach after the doctor checks her over. It might have to be force fed through a tube since she hasn't said a word yet her jaw might be broken or wired shut.” I said
“So basically broth soup is what you're saying?” Xander asked.
“Yes. Once we can figure out what's up with her jaw and she has gained some weight that is not baby weight we will move to softer foods but for now broth soup.” I said.
“How do you know all this?” Vlad asked.
“My wife is a nurse and her dad is a doctor. You learn a thing or two after a while.” I said.
“Fair enough.” Vlad said.
“Alright Abigail and I will get on that.” Xander said.
“Alright after the soup is done being prepped you can take my car and go get gifts for your sister if you want. How does that sound?” I asked Xander.
“That sounds perfect. But from the looks of it Abigail won't let me help with the sound she is literally shooing me out the door since I have you on speaker.” Xander said.
“Broth soup is just water and some seasonings in a cube or a liquid in a carton. Now go shopping and get your sister some clothes, toiletries and gifts. Go one shoo.” Abigail said in the background.
“Listen to her bud she knows what's best.” I said, trying to contain my chuckles.
“Alright I'm going I'm going. I'm taking Kyle with me since I have no idea where I'm going.” Xander said.
“You do that, just have him bring the kids in before you leave.” Abigail said.
“Alright I gotta go anyway I need to make sure Lizzy gets to the SUV safely and make sure your dad doesn't fall down the stairs.” I said.
“Alright, have a safe trip back to the farm.” Xander said.
“We will hold on. I'm gonna hold the phone to Lizzy so you can talk to her real quick.” I said. And gently held the phone to her ear.
“Alright Xander you can talk to Lizzy the phone is to her ear.” I said.
Quiet sobs could now be heard. My fingers were barely touching her jaw and I could feel multiple broken bones in her jaw letting me know her jaw was gonna need to be screwed and wired back together.
“That doesn't look normal.” Vlad whispered.
“I can feel that her jaw is broken. There are like 4 pieces of brown slightly moving against my fingers as she is sobbing.” I whispered back.
“Shit ok let's get her loaded up we need to get her jaw fixed ASAP.” Vlad said out loud.
“Dad, what is going on?” we heard Xander say aloud.
I handed Vlad the phone.
“Lizzy, is it ok if I carry you while your dad talks to your brother? Blink once for yes twice for no” I said in questioning.
All she did was blink once that's all it took for me to know she is ready to get out of here.
“Vlad spot me while you talk to your son I'll carry here.” I said Vlad nodded as I gently picked Lizzy up.
“Sorry if you're uncomfortable with the movements I'm trying to be gentle ok.” I said and she blinked once again.
And with that I slowly moved out the room and down the hall. When we got to the stairs Vlad put the blanket over Lizzy's face but left a gap so she could breath then put a hand out and guided me down the stairs.
“Did you find her?” We heard from the main door.
“Yeah.” I said as I saw Victoria at the entrance.
“Did you find your family?” I asked.
“I did, they are already loaded up. So are the rest of the Mafia family and other innocent civilians.” Victoria said.
“Are they doing a sweep to make sure nobody is missing?” I asked.
“Yes. I have one team making sure of that and another team is looking for any hidden rooms and another team is gathering documents and other things that might be of use.” Victoria said.
“Smart thinking Victoria. While I'm busy can you have some Ben rig this place to blow. I want it blown to pieces 15 minutes after we leave.” I said.
“Alright on that. All 3 of our explosive teams are rigging the place as we speak.” Victoria said
“Awesome. When we get back to the farm I want the 3 of us to sit on a zoom call with the other families to do an update and see how their progress is going.” I said.
“Sounds like a plan.” Vlad said as he opened the SUV door and hopped in.
“Alright Lizzy I'm gonna pass you over to your dad. Ok can you poke my chest to let me know you're ok with that?” I said in question.
I barely felt it but there was a feather like poke to my chest.
“Alright, if you feel any discomfort while I pass you to your dad and he situated you till you're comfortable we are sorry we just want you to have a safe and comfortable journey to the hospital ok.” I said and I felt another feather like poke to the chest.
“Alright Vlad she is poking to give yes or no answers with the blanket covering her face. It is a feather like poke so be aware of it if she pokes you to get your attention or when you ask her a question ok.” I said.
“Got it, feather-like pokes when face is covered.” Vlad said as I gently passed Lizzy over to her father.
“Ok Lizzy your dad has you know so don't freak out because you can't see his face.” I said and I felt the poke again before I completely moved from her.
