Senior year of high school Macy and Blaine had their future somewhat planned out. Macy really had an interest in psychology and wanted to further her education in that. Blaine on the other hand, wanted to be like his dad but was on the fence about which specialty he wanted to take part in the Army, he had it in his mind that he either wanted to be a combat personnel or wheeled vehicle mechanic. Either way he knew Macy would not be too happy about the combat personnel as that is what her father was in. Before they could make the future happen they both needed to focus on graduation. Before we get to graduation, first we need to address the most obvious issue. When Blaine and his dad took Macy in they were living in a two bedroom house. Where did Macy sleep you may ask? Well let's be honest they are two teenagers yes, but at the same time, they are looked at as adults. They slept and shared the same bed with that, they did the dirty that isn't a secret. Three weeks before graduation Macy started feeling different, she had an idea of what could possibly be going on. She knew she needed to take a pregnancy test to be sure, so she proceeded to take on without telling Blaine as she wanted to be sure.
(Day of graduation)
Macy wrapped her pregnancy test up and gave it to Blaine as a graduation gift. She didn't really know how he would react but at the same time they would figure it out. They had a couple friends off the base so they both combined their graduation parties as they can't have non-military personnel or families on base. Macy saved the pregnancy test for last, "Blaine, I have one last gift for you!" exclaimed Macy. Blaine goes to open it, "Macy, are you kidding me, we are going to have a baby!" exclaimed Blaine. "Yes, we are, is that okay?" asked Macy. "Absolutely!" exclaimed Blaine. Macy and Blaine are high school sweethearts, with the baby on the way Macy decided to take a year off of college. Within that year things got rocky between Macy and Blaine. Blaine finally confessed he wanted to join the Army and to do that he would have to be away for boot camp. The basic training for the Army has four main phases to go through lasting ten weeks.
YELLOW PHASE (WEEKS 1-2)Core Values: Learn Army values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal CouragePhysical Training: Begin physical and tactical military trainingFirst Aid & Army Programs: Learn life-saving skills for combat and get briefed on sexual harassment prevention programs

However, Blaine would have to go to Fort Jackson, SC which is two hours and nineteen minutes from the base.
Macy definitely was not happy with Blaine, he knew what she had been through and almost hated him for putting her in the difficult situation. Macy and Blaine ended up taking a break when Macy found out he was going to boot camp for ten weeks to become a U.S. Army Soldier. Macy needed space and time to think if that is what she wanted for her family.
(Conversation between Blaine and Macy)
"Do You still have my sweatshirt?" Asked Blaine
"Somewhere, You want it back?" Asked Macy
"No! I was gonna tell you it has more meaning now." Replied Blaine
"What do you mean?" Asked Macy
"I am going to boot camp for ten weeks to join the Army." Replied Blaine
"But your... Never mind." Replied Macy Shocked.
"What?" Asked Blaine
"But your heart." Replied Macy.
"What they don't know won't hurt them." Replied Blaine
"Blaine Robert Jones!!!! Yeah tell you die." Replied Macy furious.
"I'm all cleared by the doctors" informed Blaine.
"Okay..." Replied Macy
"What's wrong?" Asked Blaine
"I just don't know how to feel about us when you're at basic training." Replied Macy
"I still have my phone when I'm at basic." Replied Blaine
"But I won't get to see you." Replied Macy
"I can snapchat." insisted Blaine
"You're not in person so I can hold your hand." Replied Macy
"Just means you got to get your fill while I'm here." Replied Blaine
"I don't know if I want this for our kid, our family. I think I need time and space to figure this all out Blaine, if this is what you truly want then go by all means don't let me stop you. But if you come back and I'm not here I guess you know my decision." explained Macy.
