I took a break, I haven't been doing well but I'm back and I will finish this book! When this book is done I will go back and edit it ❦

"Someone let everything slip..." Astoria's voice was barely audible
"What?" Hermione had to hold her breath, her stomach fluttering
"If we've been caught then the boys aren't coming back... Hermione this is a catastrophe!" She heaved
Hermione stood, holding onto Astoria's hands for dear life, her skin clutching onto Tori's. Hermione wasn't close enough to saving her nor did she have a good enough plan to kill Voldemort and destroy his circle. Think think think!
"Hermione I'm nothing but skin and bone. I'm as useless as Orion said. We won't need Danny I will do it." Tori smiled softly
"You're having a fucking laugh." Hermione replied "You're not doing anything of the sort! Do you hear me... the boys can look after themselves for the time being.."
"It's the dark Lord! You are ignorant to such matters, you're an order member! We stick to the plan but it'll be just us." Astoria said "Write to the order, the attack is happening now, we get in and you get out alright?"
Hermione didn't catch a word
"Hermione please, they have my husband... I will change and we will go." Astoria almost fell as she turned, Hermione leaned over to catch her
"I'm fine!" She snapped, Hermione leaned back up
She watched the woman walk away, in a flash she's back to her page, running over the page one more time... Hermione closed the book and glided her fingers over the cover, the texture somehow easing her. She took off as fast as her feet could take her to her room, changing her clothes and armouring herself thoroughly.
Astoria joined her, her mask covering her face that you couldn't see anything through it, she looked nothing if not powerful. Hermione was ready, as Tori left the room her eye caught the window, it was raining heavily, the sky a deep harsh grey, a warning of what's to come. With an old withered pen in Tori's hand Hermione watched as she wrote the note, with a flick of her hand it was sent and disappeared. Tori began to drag her when she stopped.
"Port key is in ten minutes, it's where Potter's camp is, I saw him apparate just now." Hermione nodded
Calm the fuck down, remember what Snape said...
"I'm going to take a pepper up potion, meet me outside." Tori uttered
Hermione turned on her heel and made her way down to the front door, closing it behind her she couldn't help but relish in the feeling of the wind blowing across her face, how fresh it smelt as if it was the cleanest thing in the world. Tori soon came outside, her mask sitting firmly in a strap around her waist, another on her other side. Theodore's. They began to walk.
"Our entire world is about to change." Hermione murmured
"It's constantly changing, why not speed it up? See what's in store for us." Tori replied "You'll be okay."
"We. We will be okay." Hermione interrupted "We will be just fine, all of us. We'll all make it."
"Saying it more than once doesn't change the inevitable outcome Granger." Astoria grinned
"Don't grin like that. It's off putting." Hermione sneered
Astoria was right though, Hermione thought that if she said the opposite outcome that it would change things. She ultimately knew it wouldn't, no one is that stupid. Astoria sat down as they reached the port key with several minutes remaining, each minute wasted was another opportunity for Voldemort to succeed.
