As you walked behind Sukuna after the little gratitude you showed him, you walked with silence being the only unknown companion that graced the wayward group. Hamako laid hazardously on your back as she nearly fell off every few moments with very little intervals. It would have been easier on you if you didn't have a distracting injury on your side, when you ventured ___ rather ran away, you didn't think your life would be turned so upside down the way it did but at least you aren't being forced into a loveless marriage with a creepy man.

Deciding the peaceful silence was starting to become discomforting with its presence you tried to start up a conversation with the pink haired man, keyword would be tried. "Ne Ryoumen-Sama where exactly are we going?" You asked only to be met with a dry "North", you deadpanned at this and tried again, "Um so why are we travelling there?" His reply irked at your nerves as he just said "Because". Taking in a deep breath even though it sent a sharp pain through your nervous system, you attempted once more, "Because what...?" You gave him a strained smile, he turned his head to you as he looked less amused with the random chattiness you were presenting.

"What's with all the questions, Ningen?" He asked looking thoroughly annoyed with the random timing, you let out a sound of disgruntlement as you looked him in his cold dead red eyes. "I just would like to know what's going on with this trip and where it will lead." You answered as he let out a sarcastic laugh before facing forward once more, "Haven't you ever heard that the what's important is the journey not the destination." He quoted, this made you pout your lips slightly as a small hint of blush dusted your face. "I just don't want to follow you like the mindless sheep that follow the shepherd." You rebuked with him giving you a dismissive shrug, "But aren't you one though? After all you played right into my hand and played by my every tune, why you even proved my point moments ago when you timed your entry into the fight perfectly." He stated shocking you for two reasons. One it was the most you had ever really heard him talk, and two, was because he was right.

In the fight against the old man after he healed you with his reverse cursed technique, you had waited expectantly for his signal even though he never even voiced out an order. You remained silent as only your footfalls could be heard as you gazed at your hands, even after clean them of the blood they still felt dirty and covered in blood. "Fine instead of telling me where we are going to, can I ask you some questions on my mind?" You said trying to distract yourself from what you had done. With a shrug he invited you to continue which you gingerly accepted.

"What's your favourite colour?" You asked while staring at the pink haired man with your curious pools of e/c, the curse was taken back by such a mundane question so he humoured it. "It's red, if it wasn't obvious." He said as he continued to look forward letting you get a good view of the back of his kimono. "Hm okay what's your favourite season," "Spring." "Heh that's surprising, why exactly is it your favourite?" You couldn't see it but Sukuna's lips coiled up in a soft smile as he continued what he considered a fibble conversation that was a waste of time. However, despite his thoughts on the conversation he proceeded to humour you by answering and keeping the casual flow of the conversation.

The moonlight basked the tranquil landscape as the two of you continued to converse about the most trivial things whilst walking to only Sukuna knew where. It felt weird to have such a civil conversation with the psychotic murderer who has done nothing but traumatised you. Nonetheless you felt comfortable and decided to just enjoy the moment before something else would occur and you would have to engage in action.

After traversing through the night the sun began to peek out off the horizon, the night sky began to blend with hues of orange, indigo and pink, with the stars beginning to fade and disappear and the moon was now only now barely visible, the sun made its entrance. As sunlight began to shine on your group, Hamako, who had been asleep through out the night, stirred awake and let out a yawn before noticing that she was resting on your back making her fidget profusely. "M-master what are y-you doing?!?!" She said with a rushed and startled tone, all her moving was too much for you causing you two to fall on the gravel road with a thud.
