In a courtyard far in the heart of Manchuria, there stood a bored ashy grey haired man, with lips painted purple and blue eyes as cold as ice, he had his head bowed as he listened to the clanking of his wooden zori which were walking down a stone path. Stiff guards watched on in a practised patience as the man weirdly walked around in circles, why you may ask because he was bored or seemly. His actions seemed rather unorthodoxed as he hummed to himself a soft and calming hum of a song he no longer remembered the lyrics to or if it even had any lyrics at all. His winter ice blue eyes seemed void of any emotion but boredom, he was good at masking his emotions with boredom.
Even if his whole demeanour screamed boredom yet his mind was preoccupied with multiple images of a woman with h/l messy h/c hair, shiny e/c eyes that bared an innocence that was intoxicating, perfectly scared s/c skin and an alluring body and presence. It had been two weeks, two bloody weeks since he last saw her and his mind would not give him a rest as the interactions he had with her replayed over and over again in his mind.
"Good lord! I think I am losing my mind!!" His painted lips seemed to frown as unconsciously his hand hovered over his stomach, his grimace quickly shifted into a grin as he slowly giggled, "Oh wait I already am." He stated with pride before walking away from the courtyard and now extremely stiff men who couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief since he was finally gone.
"Jeez this is why I like Wa better since there's at least something to do." The ashy grey haired man spoke in annoyance as he tried to look around the area for someone who was willing to deal with his annoying behaviour, he ice eyes seemed to light up when they laid on a short round man with a reciding hair line and grey eyes. "SHANG HOU!!!" the older man turned his head to see a younger man wearing a mix of Japanese and Chinese clothing rushing towards him, his face morphed into disdain as he realised he couldn't out run him anymore so his body just braced for impact.
The ice blue eyed man pounced on the elder and they went tumbling to the floor, all the servants within the hall couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor old commander. "Oh how I have missed you Shangie!" "GET OFF ME, TAKEHITO!!!" After the little mishap the ashy grey haired man, Takehito, now walked alongside the older man who wasn't all too pleased with the predicament, the man's painted lips however wouldn't shut up for more than a second as he continued to talk about the enchanting woman he had fought during his last trip.
Now in all honesty he typically did this with any female he fights on one of his trips or missions since he had weird standards for the women he felt attracted to, but he usually stopped talking about them after at least two days. "And the amount of cursed energy she put into her fist before she punched me, the impact alone almost had me flying if it wasn't for me reinforcing my cursed energy. I would have been a glob of blood on that forest floor, don't get me started on the fact tha-" "On my mother, may she rest in piece, would you quit talking about that woman!? It's been two weeks and I think everyone in the palace knows who she is!" Shang seemed fed up with this man's story, at this point he knew it word for word, his grey eyes glared at the younger man which was not very efficient since the ashy grey haired man was much taller than his counterpart. "For real, man I must really be crazy if I talked about her that much." The man's painted lips grew into a large grin as he folded his hands behind his head, the older man's wrinkled face just kept its angry snarl as he turned back to keep walking.
"Say where are you going, Shangie?" Takehito asked as he looked down upon his older friend with a confused expression, "It surprises me that you have lived in these halls basically all your life and still don't recognise this hall." At that statement the ice blue eyed man looked around before tilting his head in confusion, if it wasn't for the fact that Takehito was taller and much more stronger in terms of power and influence Shang would've slapped this man to give him some common sense. "It's the hallway that leads to the General's war room." Takehito's face didn't change in the slightest but his ice blue eyes seemed to get colder in the light of the hallway, after all the window to the soul are the eyes. "To discuss what exactly?" His icy blue hues seemed to curl up and shine menacingly and Shang knew that he would be killed before a single lie could be uttered from his mouth, with a sigh he resigned to telling the truth.
