FREEN'S POV

I, watched Becky exit my office, her professional demeanor and sharp intellect leaving a lasting impression. As the CEO of my company, I was accustomed to people trying to impress me, but there was something different about Becky.

Her quiet confidence and curious gaze resonated with me. I couldn't help but wonder what lay beneath her polished exterior.

As the days passed, Becky proved to be an invaluable asset to my team. Her organizational skills were unparalleled, and her ability to anticipate my needs was uncanny.

I found myself relying on her more and more, and our working relationship evolved into a comfortable rhythm.

But it wasn't just her work ethic that intrigued me. Becky's kindness and empathy towards my employees caught my attention. She took the time to learn about their personal struggles and offered support when needed. Her genuine warmth was a refreshing change from the cutthroat corporate environment I was used to.

One evening, as we worked late on a project, Becky shared stories about her family and her passion for art. I was struck by her creativity and the way her eyes sparkled when she spoke about her dreams. It was like witnessing a different side of her, a side that wasn't confined by the constraints of the workplace.

As the weeks went by, my appreciation for Becky grew. I found myself looking forward to our meetings and even requesting her presence in meetings where her input wasn't strictly necessary. My colleagues began to notice our rapport, and whispers of "Freen's new protégée" circulated the office.

But I knew there was more to it than that. Becky had awakened something within me, a sense of connection I hadn't experienced in a long time. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I was drawn to her in a way that both thrilled and terrified me. Little did I know, this attraction would soon spiral into a complicated and all-consuming affair.
