The chapter begins with Oscar and Blake entering a massive hall where a huge statue lies on the ground and a huge three-sided metal dagger hangs from the ceiling. The blades are unfolded and sticking out to the sides of the hall. There are walkways with big carved faces high along the walls. A beam of light shines down from the ceiling in front of the dagger.

"Bloody hell..." Blake whispers in amazement.

"Well, this must be the place." Oscar said.

"It is." Ruby said in awe. "Look at this place."

Oscar nodded. "Yeah, it's amazing."

"Too bad this is the only time we could see." Weiss said. "Wish we could scout it more."

"Hey, that thing looks familiar." Blake said, pointing at the large dagger."

"Yeah, it looks like the Phurba dagger. These lights must activate it somehow." Oscar said as they walk down some stairs and find an old mirror on a stand at a ledge. The light from the ceiling reflects on it. There are more mirrors on other ledges to the side of it.

"What's up with those mirrors??" Jaune asked, confused.

"Perhaps they could lead them to some more clues." Ren said, thinking.

"Those mirrors seem important." Oscar said as he starts to adjust the mirror and the light bounces onto the forehead of one of the faces across the hall. The eyes light up. "We just have to bounce the light around the room."

Oscar gets down to the floor and walks across the massive statue. He approaches the face and finds another keyhole for the Phurba dagger in the mouth. He pushes the Phurba dagger into the hole and turns it. "Huh... let's see." He said as one of the blades of the giant Phurba dagger lowers down.

"I think that worked! It looks like it lowered the first blade into place!" Blake called out.

"One down, two to go!" Oscar said as he walks over to the giant blade.

"What do you reckon, we're gonna have to climb that thing?" Blake asked.

"I reckon I'M gonna have to climb that thing." Oscar said.

"Yeah, you're not even doing anything to help out." Emerald said. "Oscar's the one who's doing most of the work."

"Isn't he always??" Mercury questioned, though it was obvious. "But hey, the faster you get this done, the faster you can get of there."

Oscar starts climbing up the pegs on the side of the blade. "Let's get up here and see if we can get a better look."

"Okay, be careful up there!" Blake said as Oscar gets to the top and slowly walks onto another blade that's still folded out. "Hey! Whatever you do... don't fall!"

"Thanks for the concern." Oscar said.

Roman chuckled. "Look on the bright side, kid. If you do fall and die, at least it'll be around a beautiful temple."

The farm boy gave a blank look to the thief. "geez, I feel so much better."

"This seemed like such a good idea, down there." Oscar mutters as he gets to the end and sees a giant stone head with three eyes high on the wall. He jumps and grabs one of the eyes. It slightly moves down and the third eye on the forehead opens. Another light comes out of it and shines on one of the mirrors down below. Oscar climbs over to the walkway next to the head. He drops down to the lower walkway and finds another mirror.

"There's more reflectors up here." Oscar said as he then calls out to Blake. "Blake!"

"Yeah?" She calls back.
