I took a sharpener and sharpened my pencils. I like to think of it that way.
I sharpened my pencils to write you a letter
and draw you a picture
and because they look pretty
it doesn't matter as long as I sharpened my pencils because the only thing that counts is that I pulled out my pencil sharpener to sharpen my pencils.I took a razor today, and I shaved off my hair.
I shaved off my mistakes
and I shaved off my pain
because that's the way I like to think about it.
I shaved it off because I didn't like it
or maybe because I like the change
it doesn't matter because the only thing that counts
is that I used my razor my shave.I took a scissor today and I cut into a piece of paper
I cut out a heart and I stuck it to my wall
and then I cut out another heart and I sent it to you
and then I cut out a third one and I pressed it close
to my own
because that's the way I like to think about cutting
and it doesn't matter what I use the paper hearts for
as long as I cut them in paper.
