"With your permission of course," He paused. "With a woman as head strong as she I fear you may be faced with a rather difficult choice, Your cara or your peopie. I hope that it does not come to that but if it does, it shouldnt be an option." He added then left, and Alex released a long breath as he watched him exit the door.
He went to the balcony where his people were rapidly gathering wanting to see their Alpha for themselves. He truly missed his people. The time he spent away from his pack felt like a few months instead of the few days it actually was. But when he was with Athena it felt like a few hours. If someone were to take his devotion to his pack on one hand and his love for Athena on the other, and place them on each side of the scale, the scale wouldn't tip to any particular side.
Even as he missed his people he yearned to go back to her, he was already exhausting the eighteen days after which he knew he had to come back to his people with or without her.

The problem was staying away from her was bad, before long he would start to lose his mind - quite literally-the only slightly good thing in this scenario is that he won't be alone in the suffering. Everyone knows what happens when an Alpha spends too long away from their cara before they are properly mated unless of course she

- No. He almost yelled out the word.
He didn't even want to consider that option. So he arrived at a fool proof completely selfless plan. He needs Athena to stay sane, his people need him hence they need Athena so as the amazing Alpha he is he had to go back to get her as soon as can be arranged.
It was time to call a council meeting and Inform them of the good news,
They consisted of five elders from his father's time, his own beta, the head of his army forces and Ciara.
He was standing facing the chair the Luna was meant to occupy with a love sick smile no one needed to see, as they all assembled in the great hall and were sat upon the dining table usually covered with delectable dishes but for few moments like this when there was a meeting to be held then the table has only a crisp white cloth on it covering the entire surface.

"I know most of you have questions about my whereabouts recently. I bring good and disturbing news."He turned to them and sat himself at the head of the table- a spot reserved only for him.

His smile turned into the normal playful smile they were used to as he asked. "Which shall we begin with?"
"The sour taste the bad news might eave will no doubt ruin the good news.

An elder of the council said answering for all of them.
"Good news first then. I have found my Cara and your future Luna."
"Wondrous!" None of them bothered to contain their joy and he let the excited chatter carry on for a while before bursting their bubble.

"What could possibly sour this amazing news?" The third elder asked excitedly.

"Tell them Alpha, what could possibly sour such good news." Ciara said dryly.

"I have never heard of a Luna more formidable than yours would be. In fact she's so strong willed that she has tried to kill me several times already."

"Blasphemy!" Everyone apart from
Ciara and his beta who already knew the gist were on their feet in anger towards the person that would dare harbour an evil thought towards their Alpha not to mention attempt to lay a finger on him.

"Calm your wolves. She is an Alpha defending against what she perceives a threat in the form of a . . . Foot man on resealing the alliance between the packs. Since it is well known fact that I send trusted servants to conduct duties on behalf of the pack, "
Before the shocked council members could comprehend he quickly continued.

"Rest assured she didn't intend on harming your Alpha. The important thing is that I am well and recovered from any Injury I may have sustained."
Everyone's expressions even that of Ciara and The beta changed, even they didn't know that part of Alex's adventure.
"The penalty of drawing blood from a blue moon Alpha cannot be erased no matter who she is." The third elder Garrick who for some odd reason had an adversity to peace said.
"I am well aware of the Pena-"
Her blood must be spilled. That phony Alpha deserves the death coming to her!"
"Garrick!" Alex rose from his chair so fast it would have went flying if it wasn't made of silver. Everyone else on the table stood immediately after the Alpha.

"I should have your head for that statement. But I won't, because when you see her you will bow to her and beg her forgiveness."
The elder had no choice but to bow and accept his punishment.
"All of you." He looked to them now. "
Keep in mind that she is your queen, and I will not tolerate any insubordination towards her and I will warn you all not to jeopardize my cover because in doing so your own life will be thrown in jeopardy of what will be your own making. Dismissed."
It was as though everyone lost the ability to move. Alex had always treated them like friends rather than command them in to submission.
"I said dismissed." This time they all left quietly even Cara who always had something to say.

His devotion to her was as clear as that fact that he wouldn't stand for her to be harmed.
The next day Ciara came to his room and stopped by the open door way to his bedroom.
"Are you going to stand there gawking or will you come in."
He said from his table where he responded to letters
"I wasn't sure our queen will want me to be in the same room with our love shackled Alpha without her consent."
Even though his back was facing her she saw him stiffen.
'Too soon to joke about it?"
"Come in or leave Ciara."
