*Second Person's POV*

"This marriage will be nothing more than a contract for me." Your future wife sneered at you.

"As if it'd mean something more to me than that." You scoffed back.

"Oh God! I can't believe I am going to get married to an arrogant prick like you!" She whined.

"Excuse me!?" You exclaimed in disbelief. "You came to my house... my room and is calling me arrogant. I'd call that... as arrogant." You shot back.

You, Y/N Y/L/N, had been leading a normal peaceful life, focusing on your studies and business. Everything had been set for you to take over your family business.

That's when your parents broke the news that you will have to marry the son of your business partner. But you came out to them as gay so they changed the plan and made arrangements to have you get married to their daughter instead. Her, Kim Minji.

Both you and Minji had just passed the legal age, and marriage was something that both of you didn't even think of in your dreams. But here you were.

Currently, the two of you were in your room as her family came by to fix the date for the wedding, and the two of you were given a chance to "talk it out."

"This is so stupid!" Minji whined, yanking her hair in frustration.

"Do you have a better choice?" You asked cockily.

"Shut it! I wasn't talking to you." She scowled, making you chuckle.

"I don't see anyone else in the room." You mumbled teasingly.

"God! You are annoying." She whined again.

You chuckled again and were about to talk when a knock came on the door. You shook your head and opened it as she watched you, revealing your mothers.

"How's it going, Sweetie?" Your mother asked you.

"Well, uh, we are... getting acquainted, Mom."

"It's good that you girls are getting along well. We have fixed the dates." Her Mom announced.

"What? When?" Minji squeaked.

"Next month." Your future mother-in-law responded.

"That's close." You mumbled.

"Great things are supposed to be like that, my dear." Your mother said, caressing your cheeks.

You forced a smile.

"Join us now. Dinner is getting cold." Minji's mother said again, and both of you nodded.

As your mothers left, you turned back to her. "So, I guess it's fixed."

Minji nodded with a heavy sigh.

"Now that I don't have a way out... I'd like to make one thing clear." She said ultimately. "This marriage will be purely on papers... so don't ever try to meddle with my life... trying to be my "wife."" She air quoted.

You scoffed again.

"Do we have a deal?" She questioned, extending her hand for a handshake.

You smirked, stepping closer, avoiding her hand. "Thanks for saying what I wanted to say, Miss Kim." You said before walking out of the room.

Minji huffed.

As your parents decided, the two of you got married within a month. They gifted you a new villa, so you had to move in together and act like a loving couple before everyone.
