 Rose's P.O.V

As its teeth pierced my skin and clamped down, horrible screams came from my mouth. I thrashed my body around, until finally I was able to push it off of me. My head was pounding, my breathing was ragged, and my neck was bleeding. Isn't this day just wonderful?

"Rose!"Someone shouted. My head whipped around to see Josh running towards me, but Evan was no where in sight. Where was he? Josh wouldn't just leave him out in the woods on his own, would he?My thoughts were cut short by a growl, turning I saw the wolf attacked me creeping to me. its mouth was pulled into a snarl, with my blood on its teeth. I watched as Josh and the wolf got closer and closer, wondering who would get to me faster.Josh was running full speed, while the wolf was prowling, like he was hunting his prey. He had a sadistic look in his eyes as he crept closer and that look told me that one of us would die here today.

My eyes flicked to Josh to see he slowed down a bit and was watching the wolf. Analyzing the situation. His eyes went to me then the wolf. By the look on his face,I knew I most likely was the one who was going to die.The look he had was pure defeat and sadness but soon contorted into determination. As soon as his expression changed, so did his speed.i looked back to the wolf and saw he was watching Josh, too. His eyes narrowed when he looked backed at me and soon he was running not creeping.

When he was about to pounce,I heard the sound of shredding clothes. A sandy brown colored wolf jumped over me and tackled the other. They fell to the ground in a heap, full of growls and snarls. I leaped up, once I realized the sandy brown wolf was Josh, screaming for him to stop fighting. The whimpers and cracking from their fight was horrifying. I couldn't tell if Josh was the one getting hurt or not.

"Dad!"Screamed a child like voice, which sounded almost exactly like Evan. My head shot in his direction, only to see him holding my bleeding father in his arms. Gasping in surprise, I took off his way. I kneeled down beside them, holding my fathers hand with tears streaming down my face.

"Dad?"I cried. My hold on his hand probably would have been painful if he could feel it. The harder I cried the stronger I held his hand.

"He's gone." Evan hiccuped. I looked up at him with teary eyes and saw his attention was fully on dad. "He's gone. He's gone. He's gone." Evan whispered over and over while shaking. I moved dad out of his arms then pulled Evan to me. He tensed when I grabbed him, then latched his arms around me so tight it was hard to breathe, and cried in my arms.My hands played with his hair as I mumbled repeatedly told him everything was going to be okay.

"Rosie?"Evan asked quietly, moving to look up at me.

"Yea?" I looked down at him questioningly.

 "Where's Josh?"
