"Aunty Egypt." The words rolled off Kay's tongue naturally like she knew me way longer than the few times I came with August to see them these past few months.
"Yes love bug." My voice was softer than usual but it was always like this when I was around kids.
Sectioning another small portion of her hair I continued to finish the dreads I had occupied my self doing while we sat in the hotel having girl talk while August was out on business and getting us food.
"How long you an' Uncle Aug been togetha'?"
Long enough for me to know he's the only one for me. Those words never left my lips though, it would only lead to more questions from them.
"We have been together for a while now but before we dated we were friends." Witch was true kind of more like friends with benefits.
"You wanna marry him?" Before I could answer August and Mike walked in with pizza and wings and some drinks like we asked for.
"Uncle Aunty make us pretty." Kay Kay squealed once I finished her last dread.
"You guys have been pretty baby." Kissing her cheek she ran to August hugging his leg.
"Yawl tell ha' thank you fa' doin' yawl head." Picking Kay up he walked to the table in our hotel room sitting down with her on his lap.
"Thank you Aunty." They said in unison making a smile grow on my face as I cleaned up my hair station.
"Anytime babies." Throwing away braiding hair and putting up products and combs I washed my hands before joining them.
"Me and Egypt twins." Kay Confessed as she climbed in to my lap being different From Cha Cha and Mya she wanted to be just like me and get dreads with braiding hair even getting her toes and nails painted the same shade of pink as me.
"Mmmmhm yawl like Egypt a lot huh'?" Nodding their heads we sat talking and eating dinner.
It was now 2:35am and the girls were knocked out Cha Cha staying up the longest because she wanted bonding time with me these little girls were amazing and I was glad I got to experience this weekend with them.
Watching as August placed them all in one hotel bad I drank some soda and climbed in to the bed me and him were sharing for some reason I felt dehydrated as hell, I need to stock up on some power aides.
"You have fun wid' da' girls taday'." Watching as he climbed in to bed with me and pulled the covers over us.
"Yes did you enjoy our company." Pulling the cover further up on my shoulder I scooted over laying on top of him between his legs.
"I'll always enjoy yawl company." Moving a dread out my face and behind my ear he pulled me in to a kiss.
"I like you Egypt."
"I like you to August are you ready for Miami?" Tracing his tattoos I kissed the tattoo of the A on the center of his neck and rubbed it with my thumb.
"Yea the question is is you ready?" Wrapping his arm around my waist he let out a yawn causing me to yawn.
"Yea I'm excited to see my momma, I just don't want anything bad to happen." I confessed with a sigh I didn't want to lose August and I didn't want him to lose me.
"Nothin' bad Finna happen ta' me or you if dats' what you thinkin' me Chris Trey nd' Mike got dis' unda'control and da' people on his team wanna' join ours so it's gone be easy ta' turn dem' against him." Nodding my head in understanding I trusted him to be safe and come home to me after he did his dirty work.
