Karmas POV:.
"You gonna get out the car now?" My nervous ass had been sitting here for 5 minutes just staring at the dash board Chris had came and opened up my door and everything my ass was scared shitless to meet his family.
"Can we leave I think I'm gonna be sick." I groaned as I looked at him he was leaning against the car waiting on my scared ass cause I didn't want to get out the car.
"Come on Bri she's gonna love you." Pouting I unbuckled my seat belt grabbing my purse as Chris helped me out the car. Everybody else was already inside they were just waiting on me and Chris.
"They gonna love you I promise."taking my hand in his ass we walked up the brick wall way I looked down at my left hand smiling at my promise ring. I loved Chris that's why the opinion of his mother meant so much to me. Sighing my stomach started to hurt the closer we got his mom had a nice place. Chris had already told me he spent a pretty penny on this whole set up for this house.
With out knocking he walked straight in pulling me behind him he spoke to a couple people introducing me to them but he was on a mission to find his mom. Dragging me around some more we finally got to the kitchen where I saw August and Treys mom.
August and Treys mom always came around Chris's mom never did she didn't agree with his way of life but she dealt with it.
"Ma I been lookin for you." He let my hand go and walked up to a light skinned lady who looked just like him pulling her in to a hug and a kiss on the cheek along with everyone else.
"Is this one of the girls from your house?" She questioned in confusion since this was a family event the other ladies spoke pulling me in to hugs before walking out leaving us alone.
"Somethin like dat momma this my girl the one I been tellin you about since a long time now." Coming to me he grabbed my hand as I looked at my feet shyly.
"She look different from the pictures." Walking up to me she looked me up and down for what felt like forever.
"It's nice to meet you." Holding out my hand she hesitated but pulled me in to a hug.
"Your my daughter in law stop acting so shy you look even better in person and look far more beautiful then Chris described you even though he did a bunch of bragging about how in love he was with you." Looking over at Chris his face was red from embarrassment as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Thank you, I thought you were going to hate me." I confessed as I sat down at their kitchen island next to Chris.
He pulled my stool closer to his as he placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Now why would you think that?" Shrugging my shoulders I really didn't know.
"You should've seen her ass she was panickin ma, tryna come up with ways for us not ta come you had my baby shook." His momma laughed then handed me a cut of ice cold tea with a lemon on the side giving Chris one to.
"Naw if you make my baby happy Ima automatically like you've changed Chris for the best." She bragged sending me a wink.
"Well I love him I don't know what I would do with out him he's my everything, my life line, my drug, your son keeps me sane in this crazy world." Smiling at Chris he kissed the back of my hand as he pulled it to his lips.
"See look at him chris has never brought a girl to meet me let alone been this affectionate." Blushing I smiled as I looked at he looked embarrassed my baby was cute.
"Aweeee baby I'm the first person you've brought to meet mommy?" I questioned in a whining tone as I got done from stool and stood between his legs.
