AEMOND, 134 AC
If he was being honest, Aemond thought Alayne would've laughed at him for making such a ridiculous suggestion. But when her eyes grew unfocused as she contemplated, he almost regretted his offer. Why would she want to ride a dragon she was not bonded to?
"Would Vhagar let me ride her? Even if it is with you?" Alayne asked, and Aemond had to force his surprise from revealing itself upon his face.
Gesturing for the both of them to head back to their bedchamber, Aemond replied, "There is always the chance she won't, but if I want you to, I believe she will accept it. Are there any rejections from Vermithor?"
Alayne went quiet, feeling for the presence that was always with her. Then the corners of her lovely mouth quirked up in amusement. "He's too ravenous to care at the moment, but if he gets angry, I know how to handle the old grandfather."
Aemond laughed as they entered their rooms. "Very well, then. To be on the safe side, I don't think you should wear your dragon armor. Vhagar doesn't like other dragons very much, and the smell of another might unsettle her."
