As Pitbabe followed Way towards the celebration, his mind lingered on Charlie's departure. Despite his attempts to shake off the feeling of disappointment, he couldn't help but wonder about the Enigma.

Arriving at the celebratory venue, the lively atmosphere seemed to envelop Pitbabe, momentarily distracting him from his thoughts. The X-Hunter and Pakin teams mingled together, sharing laughter and camaraderie. However, Pitbabe's mind remained preoccupied with Charlie's abrupt exit.

"Hey, you seem a bit out of it," Way remarked, noticing Pitbabe's distant expression.

Pitbabe shook his head, trying to push aside his inner turmoil. "I'm fine, just thinking about something," he replied, attempting to mask his unease.

Way raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Is it about Charlie?" he asked, his voice lowered to a whisper.

Surprised by Way's perceptiveness, Pitbabe hesitated before nodding reluctantly. "Yeah, I can't shake off the feeling that there's more to him than meets the eye," he confessed, his words tinged with uncertainty.

Way nodded understandingly. "Charlie seems like a complex guy. He's definitely got layers," he admitted, his gaze thoughtful.

Pitbabe furrowed his brow, intrigued by Way's cryptic words. "What do you mean?" he inquired

"Let's just say there's more to his story than what he shows on the surface," Way replied, a knowing glint in his eye.

Before Pitbabe could delve further into the conversation, their attention was diverted by the sound of laughter and chatter. Turning towards the source of the commotion, they spotted Rain and Sky arguing about who had the best boyfriend with both of their boyfriends beside them watching them unsure if they should but in. Alan and the rest were laughing and trying to maintain a straight face.

As Pitbabe observed the exchange between the two omegas , a thought crossed his mind. "Hey, Way, do you think Rain could give me to Charlie's number?" he asked.

Way frowned, sensing Pitbabe's growing interest in Charlie. "You can try asking. But don't push it. Be ready that he might say no" Pitbabe nodded, acknowledging Way's warning.

Charlie drove home with a sly grin, intentionally ignoring Pitbabe. Despite his attraction to Pitbabe, he didn't want to be merely a one-night fling. As he arrived home, he found Jeff asleep and gently stroked his hair before preparing for bed. Thoughts of the alluring Racer briefly distracted him, but he refocused on cuddling Jeff and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Charlie woke to the smell of breakfast, realizing Jeff was already up. After their meal, Charlie dropped Jeff off at Phayu's garage before returning home to continue his remote work. Busy with his tasks, he enjoyed the freedom his hidden identity provided.

Meanwhile, Pitbabe woke up with a hangover, regretting his excessive drinking fueled by thoughts of the Enigma who ignored him. After a refreshing shower, he ventured out on an empty stomach, still plagued by lingering frustration.
