The Yellow Brick Road

A small recap of Chapter 3:

"However for Lillith.... Her sleep may not be as peaceful as she hoped it be....."

            Here layed Lillith, sleeping soundly as her mind dreamed of things like food, fun, her friends, and family. But her sleep was cut short when a bright green hue engulfed the darkness, making her wince from the brightness. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, only to find herself in a green hallway.

            "Where the hell am I?" She spoke out in confusion, wondering where she was and how she got there. She didn't know why... But she felt like she's seen this hallway, but didn't remember where she's seen it. At the end of the hallway however, was a big green door. Out of curiosity, she gets up and wakes down the hallway to the big door.

            When she reached the door, she noticed that it was open slightly. Curiosity getting the best of her, she peaked into the room behind the door , only to see seven people in the room. But she couldn't see them clearly, they were all blurry. All but one...

            Lillith's eyes widened, a small gasp escaping her lips. She knew this character... She's seen this character.... And she loved this character.... He was her favorite character in one of her favorite movies, Legends of Oz Dorothy's Return.... This character.... Was the Scarecrow.

            HOW THE HELL WAS THIS POSSIBLE?! He's just a fictional character from a fictional movie! LIKE HOW?!?!?!?! After her little mental spiral, she noticed that the Scarecrow was looking at her, REALLY looking at her. The two stared at each other, emerald green staring into sky blue. Before Lillith could do anything however, the voice returned...

            "Wake up...."

            Lillith shot up from her sleeping state, breathing heavily as sweat began to form on her forehead. Her mind was racing, wondering what kind of weird dream did she just have. Why did she see the Scarecrow? Why was the Scarecrow in her dream? What did the dream mean? Was it a vision of the future? And who the hell is that lady she's been hearing since she got into this wacko world? SO MANY QUESTIONS YET NO ANSWERS TO THEM! After a bit, she calmed down, taking deep even breathes to regain control over for panic state.

            She turned her head, seeing Neko at the entrance of the cave with a big leaf full of fruits. He had a worried expression on his face, seeing the sweat on her forehead.

            "Oh! N-Neko! Y-You're still here..." Lillith murmured, surprised that he didn't run away with her things while she was asleep. He then came up to her, placing the fruits in front of her. "Oh. Thanks Neko." She took a bite on a berry and loved it, it tasted like it was from heaven. She continued to eat the fruits until Neko tapped her shoulder, making her look at him. He then made some noices that sounded like a monkey, making her guess he was part monkey, as if he was trying to say something. At first she didn't understand what he was saying, but understood what he was trying to say. He was trying to say about if she was okay or not.

            "Yes, I'm fine Neko. I just.... Had a bad dream is all..." Lillith assured him, lying through her teeth again.

            After a few minutes, Lillith finished eating all the fruits and packed up her things as she prepared for the journey ahead. But before she started her journey, reality decided to make her overthink things. Like where would she go? Are there any towns or cities nearby? And who would help her? Again, so many questions yet no answers to them. She then looked at Neko, thinking maybe he could help her in a way.

            "Hey Neko!" She said, getting his attention. "Do you know anyone who could help me? I'm kinda in a rough patch right now and I need mega help."

            Neko paused for a moment before grunting as he took Lillith's hand and made her follow him. She was very confused at first at where he was taking her before Neko stopped, making her  trip and fall on the grass. As she got up, she saw something incredible, something you'd until see in the movies and books, something that proved her theory.... The Yellow Brick Road....

            Lillith's eyes widened in disbelief, she was standing in front of the Yellow Brick Road, proving to her that she was in the Land of Oz. A F***ING DREAM COME TRUE!!!! Which means that Neko was a flying monkey, means that the Emerald City is real, means that she can actually meet the Scarecrow. That's why Neko took her to the road, to get to the Emerald City and get the Scarecrow to help her.

            Neko then grunted, pointing North down the brick road. Welp, this was going to be fun.

            Lillith then began her journey to the Emerald City down the Yellow Brick Road with her new friend Neko joining her by her side to meet the Scarecrow for help.

            However, Lillith was unaware that a certain witch of the North was watching her from her castle, preparing for the danger that has come to offer for our young hero...
