⚠️DON'T READ IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH DCAS EP. 3⚠️

Lake has just been the second person voted out of All Stars. Thanks to Ellie exposing her for wanting Tom to be voted out next. Gabby was also a contributor to the elimination. She didn't want to vote Lake out, but she also didn't want to upset Ellie. Lake didn't seem too mad, though. That was something good that came out of the elimination.

"Alright, you guys can go back to your tent."

The team walked back to their tent in silence. Ellie and Gabby walked together. Tom walked with Aiden to make sure he was alright. Tess walked by herself. Like always. A deep pit formed in Gabby's stomach. It was filling with regret by the second. "Maybe we shouldn't have voted Lake out."

"We're just playing the game, Gabbs." Ellie tried to reassure her, but it didn't work. Gabby still felt guilty. "Yeah but- "

"There is no 'but' Gab, she should have voted with us."

"I.. I know, but"

Ellie interrupted her again.

"Gabby, it's just the way the game is played! Look, Im sorry we had to vote her out, but she didn't want to vote out Aiden!"

"What?!" Aiden yelled.

The yelling caused everyone to look at Ellie, but then looked at Gabby for her reaction. The ginger realized what she did. "Oh shit, I didn't mean to yell at you."

"It's ok." Gabby said in a soft tone. But did she really mean it? Was it ok? Gabby walked to the tent by herself for the rest. She was just trying to tell Ellie how her true feelings were. Once she got back to the tent, she changed into her night clothes and laid down. Though Gabby wasn't tired in any way. Soon, the others started making their way to the tent. They changed into their other clothes, then crawled in. Ellie looked over where Gabby was "sleeping." She crawled over to her then sat next to her. "Gabby." The ginger said soft while caressing her hair.

Gabby remained quiet. Ellie sighed. This wasn't defeat, yet. She was too eager to give up. "Look, I didn't mean to yell at you. I was just.. I was just a bit tense. I didn't want to get voted out so early."

Still silent.

"Look, I don't know what I can do to make you feel better. Just say it, and I'll do it."

"Can you stop talking to me? I don't wanna talk right now."

"Got it. Can I at least cuddle you?"

Gabby stopped talking once more. That must have signified a no. Ellie lay on the side of her and very slowly drifted to sleep.

The sun was beginning to rise. Gabby was already awake. She was a bit of a morning owl. Looking down at Ellie, she examined her pale sleeping. While perusing the pale skin, the event that happened last night flooded her brain. Maybe she overreacted to Ellie's yelling. Of course, Gabby still loves Ellie, but it feels like she doesn't listen sometimes. Gabby crawled out of the tent, then went sit on a rock.

A beautiful shade of orange filled the sky. The tree leaves slowly swayed back and forth. Birds softly chirped in the distance. Gabby felt more relaxed, taking in the crisp air. She watched the sun rise while pondering about the situation. Maybe she should just forgive and forget. Ellie most likely didn't mean it.

There was a bit of shuffling going on in the tent. Gabby didn't care to look back. A ginger figure crawled out of the tent and then walked towards the pondering woman. "Hey Gabby.." She said with a sorrowful voice. "Hey." Gabby looked back at her. There weren't really any negative feelings that were swarming her head anymore. Well, except for disappointment. "Do you wanna talk now?" Ellie knew she should have waited for Gabby to say when she was ready to talk, but Ellie wanted to hurry and fix things. "I think I am."

"Are you sure, I don't want you to talk when you're not ready."

"I'm positive. I wanna talk now." If she didn't talk now, she would have to compete in the challenge with an unclear mindset, and that could make them loose again. Ellie sat next to her on the big rock. "So, do you want to start?"

Gabby sighed before beginning to vent. "I know you're just playing the game, but I just wanted to tell you how I feel. You didn't listen, though." As Gabby ranted on and on, Ellie self-reflected on herself. "Also, I don't like when people try to control me. Sometimes, I like to do my own thing."

The venting went on for a bit. "And that's it. What about you?" Gabby looked over at Ellie. She had her head down with her hands between her thighs. "No, all I have to say is," Before finishing, she looked at Gabby. "I'm so sorry. I really need to listen to you more." Gabby smiled as she pulled her in for a hug. "I forgive you." She snuggled into Ellie's neck.

Ellie hugged her back, tenderly stroking her back. A huge amount of guilt was pushed off her back. She was lucky to have a forgiving girlfriend like Gabby. "I promise once the season is over, I can make it up to you." Ellie softly kissed her neck.

Gabby face heated up. She snickered before playfully pushing her away. "You don't have to. I already forgave you."

Have an awesome day⍢
