They arrived in Dragonstone. Jacaerys and Luceyrs were sparring outside, when they saw Armadeus get off of the boat they stopped. "Arma!" Jace said, running up to her and hugging her. "Hey Jace. Hello to you too Luke. I see you guys are sparring." Arma said.
"Yes. We didn't know you were coming, we would've dressed appropriately, if we did." Luke said. "It was a last minute thing, we were in the area." Jace and Luke looked over to her side to see Arma's tourist husband. "This is Zephyr, he is my husband, I hope you can get along with him, he is really nice." Arma said. "Zeph, this is Jacaerys and Luceyrs, they are Rhaenyra' sons." "Nice to meet you both." Zephyr said, his smile going from cheek to cheek. "Your Mother is inside, yes?" Arma asked the boys, "Yes. We can talk more later then?" Jace said. "Yes, my boy." Arma replied.
Zephyr and Arma made their way in. They walked the halls of the castle, and slowly made their way to Rhaenyra. Before Armadeus opened the door, she took a breath.
When she did, Rhaenyra and Daemon were talking. They both looked at the door.
"Armadeus?! You're here?" Rhaenyra said. "Yes, My Princess, we're here on urgent business." Arma replied. Then Arma looked at Daemon, and he was smiling at her. He knew Arma couldn't keep away. "This is Zephyr, my husband." Arma introduced. "Hello, Your Grace, this is such a pleasure to meet you. I've heard only good things about you, from my wife." Zephyr said. Rhaenyra smiled. "You said you were here for business?" Daemon said. "Yes. Aegon has become King. Your Father is dead, Rhaenyra. I'm sorry." Armadeus explained. "So I've heard. Rhaenys told me." Rhaenyra replied.
"She is here? I've just seen her when I went to Aegons–" "You went to his coronation? You could've come here and you went to his coronation?"
"This is not the time to argue, Nyra. This is an urgent matter. Who knows what they're going to do next." "Fine, we will argue later. So, yes Rhaenys is here."
They all talked about King's Landing, and Aegon's coronation. "I'm sorry, I know I'm in no place, but should you really go to War with them? Asthornia is still recovering. And Astor, her children are still young, Astor and her children are not ready for war. Armadeus." Zephyr said.
"I know. But I can fight too. Even if they don't use their army there'll still be a fight. Astor is a last resort." Arma said.
"They will use their dragons. But in hindsight, they've not done anything out of law." Rhaenyra said. "Except-" Armadeus sighed, "Daemon, Zephyr, would you mind leaving us for a minute?" Armadeus asked. "Of course, Your Grace." Daemon said, then he left the room and Zephyr followed. "Rhaenyra, they murdered my family. My Aunt, my Father, my Brother. I told you already, I will go to war with King's Landing after your Father dies. Even if you do not stand behind me." "You never said after my Father died. You just said, you would. If I had become Queen, would you declare war against me?" Rhaenyra said. "Rhaenyra... I would. King's Landing, their people, they should not be trusted."
"I am one of those people, Jace and Luke, Daemon even, they are all people of King's Landing. Are you saying you do not trust us?" , "I am not saying anything, Rhaenyra. Alicent, Aegon, Aemond, they can not be trusted, Criston, and everyone else who stands behind them, they can not be trusted." , "What if I stood behind them? Would you fight me then? You've already hurt me, would you do it again?" Rhaenyra asked. "I would. But I know it will never happen, because you told me that you would fight your own blood, for me."
"We were young, Armadeus, there's no way you believed that."
"I did, Rhaenyra. I did... I believed you! That is why I left! I thought you would stand with me our whole lives! You are just proving what I said, you do not love me anymore."
"You do not love me... you went off and married a man."
"You did it first, Daemon, Laenor, Harwin, Daemon again. You did it first! You hurt me first! It was a mistake coming to talk to you." "At least stay, your husband is fond of travelling, I can tell.." Rhaenyra said.
Armadeus nodded and left the room.
Daemon walked back in. "You guys were awfully loud. But it seems she has a point, Rhaenyra. You two were in love when you were younger. What happened?" Daemon asked.
"I grew up, I moved on, she didn't." "We should get ready, The Greens are going to come any second." Daemon said.
