"I will take what is Mine with Fire and Blood„

{~Set mostly in third person~}

In the Throne Room, where The Iron Throne sits, in King's Landing; Stands the Scarlet House. King Easton Valrion stands before King Viserys Targaryen. "Please Your Grace, My Kingdom has run out of food and supplies, we're merely living off fish and cattails." Easton said, eager to get the King listening. Standing beside the King of Roses, was his daughter and son. "I understand. But you've been independent for generations. Why do you need help now?" Viserys asked, "Ever since my wife.. ever since my wife died, the kingdom died with her. It rains everyday, and the livestock stay away, the crops become too hydrated to grow. There's only two days out of the year where we can see the sun." "So.. all you need is supplies?" Viserys asked once again. "Yes Your Grace." Easton replied.
"Let's make an agreement. We help you, but if we do you're no longer independent. You have to join the Seven Kingdoms." Viserys said, Easton didn't argue, all he cared about was his kingdom. The one his wife left him. The one he needs to save, only for his children. "I'll do it."

As she was walking the halls of the palace in King's Landing, Princess Armadeus thought to herself; 'Why does Father have to be so dense? We could've easily made it sunny in Asthornia. He just needs to move on from my Mothers death.'
Except he already did, Easton moved on from his wife's death, and it was clear, Ezekiel has also moved on. Armadeus tried to make herself  believe she was okay, but it still rained. It rained because Armadeus missed her Mother, every second, of every day.
Soon enough the Princess ran into Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, "Hello, Princess" Armadeus spoke first. "Hello. Princess Armadeus, correct?" The girl with snow colored hair asked.
"Yes. Hopefully we could get along. I've heard you've been looking for a new friend, ever since Queen Alicent wedded your father." Armadeus had to bring up the Queen. It was relevant. "Yes, not that I want to talk about it. I also hope we could become good friends." Rhanerya spoke. "But I'm afraid we'll have to talk later. I've got someplace to be." Rhanerya walked past Armadeus, but turned back, "And Princess, thank you for joining our Empire. You make the Targaryens all more powerful." Rhanerya said.

"Your dragons make you powerful enough. Goodbye, Princess Rhanerya." Armadeus then walked the opposite direction from Rhaenerya.
Rhaenerya watched as Armadeus walked away. Oddly enough the Scarlets were oddly dressed. Girls from the Decayed Kingdom. Dressed in male attire, and her hair slicked back. She then went to the council's meeting. As she walked away, Rhaenrya thought, 'Her brunette curly hair, and her thick lips. It all goes well with her attire.'
As Rhanerya walked through the door, her Father, and his Council members were talking about the recent event. "Your Grace, I just think that this was not the right choice. Asthornia has never been on the same side as The Seven Kingdoms." The Hand, Otto said.
"This is going to be okay. King Easton is a good King. He's kept his kingdom alive this long." Viserys replied.  "Bring him in." Otto demanded, the guards opened the door for King Easton to enter. "You Grace." He said as he walked through the large doors.
"How long do you want this agreement to go on?" Otto asked.
"Just until we can get up on our feet by ourselves." The king replied. "After that, I want my independence back."
King Viserys laughed. He laughed loudly. "Why do you laugh, Father? If he wants freedom then he can have it." Rhaenrya spoke up, "Quiet, Daughter, the adults are speaking"
If anything, the guards put their guard up, they could see Easton clench his fist while Viserys insulted his daughter. "This is why we kept away for so long. The Difference between The Seven Kingdoms and Asthornia is that we hear from all people. Men, women, and children. I don't think we'll be needing your assistance." Easton then left the room.
Outside the door, Armadeus and Ezekiel. Ezekiel was crying into his sister's arms, and Armadeus had a furious look. "Father, we want to leave. They called Ezekiel a bastard, and an accident, a fake heir." Armadeus explained the reason Ezekiel cried.
"Let me talk to them, Father. I'll teach them to watch their dear tongues." Armadeus said, in fact she didn't care what her Father thought, she stormed into the room even after her Father said no. "Your people and servants better apologize, in fact I want an apology from the whole kingdom. They better not call my brother a bastard." Armadeus said.
Rhanearya was impressed by the way she talked to the one man that can help her kingdom. "A bastard? I'll apologise to you myself, Otto, make it clear that to anyone who dares question the blood of the Scarlets are harshly punished." , "I apologise on behalf of my kingdom. It was good talking to you Princess Armadeus. In fact, tell your father to come back in here." Armadeus nodded and left the room, "The King is calling you back, Father."
Armadeus smiled as she walked past her Father. Easton walked through the doors for a third time. "Sympathy? That's what it takes to let me have independence? Freedom? All because my son was called a bastard?" Easton said. Viserys was silenced. "I apologised."
"No, you apologized to my Daughter, to Armadeus. Not Ezekiel." Easton cut the King off.
"The King of The Seven Kingdoms is making an agreement with you. Even after you insulted him. Just keep quiet and agree to it." Otto said. "Then I am sure that your King can speak for himself. I agree to your bargain, King Viserys. But after my Kingdom can stand on its own, it is over. Thank you for your time." Easton left.

After a while Armadeus and Rhaenrya met up. "Your Father, he's bold." Rhaenrya spoke, "Yes. But, I'm afraid I have to be honest with you, Princess. I lied. No one called Ezekiel a bastard. No one in Asthronia has even told him what that is. But my Father, he thinks he needs no one, but in fact, my Mother was the only one keeping him from death." Armadeus spoke with honesty. "You lied? To the King? Maybe it's not King Easton that is bold but you instead." Rhaenyra replied. "Yes. But he is not my King. He is yours, and he is King's Landing's King. He can not tell me or my family what to do."

"Another thing I'm curious about. I've visited Asthornia before, a few years ago. Everyone there cross dresses. Why?" Rhaenrya asked, "Because everyone is free. We don't demand anything there except for food, and loyalty. They are free. All of the Asthornians are free." Armadeus replied. She looked off the railing, as she did Rhaenrya thought, and thought hard. 'I never believed their kingdom was independent, let alone the people themselves.' "Come to dinner. Invite your family, the Queen, and King would be there. So please, come." Rhaenyra asked, she almost pleaded. "Of course, if the Princess is asking, then of course I'll come." Rhaenyra sighed with relief. "Can we also not use formalities whilst alone? It's uncomfortable." Rhaenyra asked again, "Of course, Rhaenyra." Armadeus replied, with a light smile.

The Targaryens were sitting patiently at the dinner table, waiting for the Scarlets.
"I'm sorry for the tardiness. Ezekiel didn't know what to wear." King Easton walked through the door. His children followed behind him. They sat down, and Armadeus sat across from Rhaenyra. They smiled at each other. "I'm sorry for making us late, Your Grace." Ezekiel spoke. "No worries, my Father understands. He was late to my school plays." Rhaenyra jokes, Armadeus let out a little laugh. Then put her head down. Everyone was curious about this interaction. "I see you've become friends." Queen Alicent stated. "Yes, Your Grace. Princess Rhaenrya and I seem to get along quite well." Armadeus replied.
"That's good, that means our families would be great allies. Maybe Ezekiel and Rhaenrya can become wedded." King Viserys said. "No. Ezekiel already has his eyes on someone. Him and the Princess would not be a great match." Armadeus said. She knew that her brother didn't want  a wife, he didn't even want to be the heir.
"Ah, I see. Well maybe Armadeus can marry my newborn son, once he becomes the age." Viserys tried to set up the Scarlets with his own children. Easton didn't like that idea, "My daughter wishes to be independent, just like her Mother. Almost like her Mother." Easton said to the King. "Yes, I do not wish to be married." Armadeus repeated. "You'll have to, now that you're a part of the Seven Kingdoms." The Queen said. "I do not wish to live by your customs, only our own." Armadeus said. Only to be put in her place. "Then you'll simply be executed. It is against the law for you not to be wedded." Ser Crsiton Cole stepped out of place.
Armadeus turned towards him. "I see. I guess you'll have to deal with all 900,000 of my soldiers, and assuming that my loyal people would also kill for me. It brings it up to over a million, and don't even talk about your dragons." Armadeus looked back at King Viserys.
"We have much, much worse." Armadeus smiled, and the room went silent.
"What can be worse than dragons? Princess?" Rhaenyra asked. "The Kraken. Our Kraken, Astor. She is what's worse than a few dragons, especially with her being pregnant. I wouldn't recommend this though. War, I mean. I'd keep peace amongst us. So please, Ser..?" Armadeus didn't know the name of Criston Cole. "Criston Cole, Your Majesty." He said. "Ser Criston. Never speak to me again." Armadeus said, then continued eating.

After the dinner, Armadeus walked Rhaenyra to her quarters , "Pretty bold of you talking to Ser Criston like that, threatening us." , "No, I threatened everyone but you. You're too pretty to be a subject of war." Armadeus thought she was the prettiest in Westeros. 'Her silky white hair, and her violet eyes. It all fits for a queen. Not a warlord.'  "Thank you. But really, I've already been one." Rhaenyra said. "I guess this is our stop?" Armadeus asked, "Yes. Thank you for walking me here." Rhaenyra seemed disappointed. As Armadeus walked away, Rhaenyra grabbed her. "Wait. Would you like to come in? We could talk more." Rhaenrya asked
"Rhaenyra, love, we just met, and you're inviting me into your room? You're insane, you realize what you're asking of me?" Armadeus just wanted to make sure Rhaenyra understood what Armadeus would do. "Just met or not, there is something between us. It's so clear." Rhaenyra understood. There was silence. Armadeus checked around for guards of all sorts. "Okay, I'll stay for the night." Armadeus walked closer to Rhaenyra, forcing her to walk into her own room.
Armadeus closed the door behind them, and slowly touched Rhaenyra' cheek.
"You're sure you want to do this? I could get banished for this." Armadeus asked.
"I understand. You can only get banished if anyone finds out, and I promise, I'll fight for you. So please, just keep quiet."  Rhaenyra said, getting up on her toes just to reach Armadeus.

Their lips touched slowly, and Armadeus reached for the back of Rhaenyra' dress, slowly untying the string holding it together, never taking her eyes off of Rhaenyra.
