Stressed out, Sora stormed to the monastery training course and began throwing fists and kicking wooden dummies in a fit of rage. The ninjas, Arin, and Wyldfyre were holed up in their own little thing while Sora was going through it. She wanted to talk to someone, someone to vent to, but no one had the time, and not to mention she had trust issues. Just as she was about to go back inside and sulk in her room, the doors slid open, and lo and behold, I was Garmadon, the father of Lloyd.
Confused of what she was doing all alone, he asked, "Sora, what're you doing out here by yourself? Is everything okay?"
Sora stood still, her back facing towards him with her shoulders slumped. After taking some time to calm down, she finally spoke, "Yeah, I'm fine." Garmadon could sense her uneasiness and went up to her, careful not to get too close to her where it'll make her feel uncomfortable.
"You don't have to lie to me. I know how you feel right now. Though, if there's anything you want to talk about, you know where to find me," he gently smiled, even though she wasn't even looking at him.
"Thanks, Garmadon, but really, I'm alright," she lied, turning around to face him.
He paused briefly before making a decision.
"Hey, why don't you come with me."
Confused, Sora followed behind him as he lead her inside the monastery and into the small library. There were thousands of ancient books and scrolls, some of which were piled up on top of one another in a little corner. Garmadon sighed, "I swear, Lloyd is so disorganized. I can't believe he wants to be like Wu. There's literally nothing good about that Santa looking ass guy," he mumbled loud enough for Sora to hear, in hopes his jokes would enlighten her to some extent. And he was right; Sora let out a soft chuckle.
"Here, come sky," Garmadon ushered her. Sora slowly walked towards one of the small sofa across from him.
"I'm not trying to force you to get you to talk to me about your... problems. But I just want to know that I'm all ears and could potentially help you out," he reassured.
Sora let out an exasperated sigh, "You're right. You've figured me out; I'm not okay."
"So... do you wanna talk about it?", he asked.
"Yeah, but it's about my parents and Imperium..." she sighed.
Garmadon had some background knowledge about Sora's life in the past and how she fled from her home. "Y'know," he began, "sometimes running away is a good thing to a certain point. In my opinion, at least." Sora simply smiled at his acknowledgement.
"I think you did the right thing. Because of your escape, you found many great people you wouldn't have found in Imperium."
Sora winced at the thought of Imperium and shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "I guess... but I just wish that my parents were more understanding and supportive of what I want. They want me to be like them, to follow in the grimy footsteps of Empress Beatrix, to hurt innocent dragons!" She vented as she fought back tears.
"Yeah, I get it. Unfortunately, not everything goes in the ways we want it to. For me, I was robbed of my childhood."
This caught Sora's attention, "How?"
"You've probably heard a thing or two about me, right?"
"Yeah, because of Arin. Obviously." Garmadon let out a small laugh.
"Well, after I got bitten by the Great Devourer, my entire life went downhill because of it. Everything I did went out of my control. When I was a kid, I asked other kids if I could play with them. Once, a kid said no, and I ended up killing him. Because of that, I was to never show my face to the city of Ninjago ever again."
"Wow, who knew something as little as a snake could do something like that."
"Yeah. It took years for the venom to really come into play."
"Damn, I thought it took at least a year or two."
"Oh, and my father, the First Spinjitzu Master, neglected me as soon as he gave up trying to help me get rid of the Devourer's venom. Some help he did..." he mumbled that last part to himself, but Sora heard anyways.
"My life is full of twists and turns, it's kinda hard finding a place to start from," he added, "Hey, how about we talk more later? We can do this everyday if you'd like to."
"Sure!" She paused for a bit, then added, "Maybe you should try having a therapy session with Arin. Boy, he has a LOT to say," she laughed to herself, "Ah, I'm glad he's my friend."
Out of nowhere, the doors burst open. It was Lloyd— or should I say, MASTER Lloyd.
"Father? Sora? What are you two doing here?" He asked, completely confused.
"Commenting on your little heap of scrolls over there, MASTER," Garmadon said with great emphasis on "master" while pointing to the giant pile of ancient Ninjargon scrolls.
Lloyd sighed while Sora burst out laughing, "You don't have to call me out like that," he said as he trudged over to the little corner of scrolls.
"Bruh, it's sitting right in front of my face, of course I'm gonna call you out for that," he replied back.
"What do you even do with all those scrolls anyways?" Sora asked.
"It's probably for the aesthetics," Garmadon said jokingly.
"So being messy is an aesthetic now??" Sora asked.
Garmadon burst out laughing, "Apparently so."

Author's note:
If y'all want a part 2, I can make one! (Just gotta be patient though, lmao).
Also, Garmadon will be in a lot of oneshots because I he's literally my favorite character and he's so underrated FOR NO REASON (so is Koko, so I'll be making ship stories about them because I love them too much) 😭😭😭
Anyways, see y'all later! Next story will be about Garmadon and Lloyd (might be a little sad but it's pretty wholesome, some gore will be in it though so be careful!! I'll put a warning when the gore starts though, it's pretty short).
