So I realized that I forgot to add a part of the previous episode in the previous chapter, so I'll be adding the question I left out in this chapter as makeup for not adding it previously.

FarQuarry-

(Question: Hey Cuphead, Mugman, and (y/n)! What were your reactions to Dice's theme song?)
———
Flashback-

The cup bros, battered and beaten, walk into the die house after collecting the first batch of soul contracts. After the doors close behind them, a tune drifts through the reasonably small room.

"Did...did he write his own theme song?" Cuphead asks in slight confusion and concern.

Standing in front of the next door, King Dice grins practically from ear to ear as he taps a foot to the rhythm of his own song. "You can head on over to the next isle, plenty more marks for you to lean on there!" He retorts.

Before the cup bros could react, a hole opens up beneath the looming figure, King Dice slinks into the void of the hole, disappearing into the darkness below before the hole pops out of existence.

The two brothers look at the place where the man once stood in bewilderment. Cuphead gives the area glare afterwards, crossing his arms. "Psh... what a prick. Right mugs?" Cuphead grumbles.

Mugman gives a halfhearted hum of agreement as he reads the list of contractors they have left to deal with.

As time passes, the two start humming along with the tune as a pass time as they figure out a plan of action.

(Somewhere else...)

King dice pops up from the ground of the casino bar, startling a tiny (y/n) from practicing a couple of basic card tricks.

Dice chuckles a bit and sits down in the seat opposite of the small cup. "You gotta stop getting startled by the smallest of things, it's effecting your focus."

"(Well no shit Sherlock.)" (y/n) mumbles to herself. "Maybe if you didn't pop up from the ground like a desperate plant, I wouldn't have been so easily distracted!"

"Don't you smart mouth me young lady!" Dice grins.

"Oh? And what are you going to do if I keep back talking you?" (Y/n) smirks with a bit of overconfidence.

"Well if you keep doing that, I might just have to go and get boss!" Dice smiles mischievously.

And within the blink of an eye, (y/n's) overconfidence was gone. "W-wait! You don't need to get boss, I'll stop back talking, I'll stop!" She pleaded.

Dice chuckled and shook his head at the child's actions. "Go get back to work kid." He smiles as he watches the small cup hop up from her seat and dash back into the main room of the casino.

The painting above the booth that dice now sat at alone soon grew a pair of eyes and a toothy grin, eventually becoming the devil.

Dice rolled his eyes and looked up at his boss. "Were you there the entire time?" He sighed.

"I have a right to watch over my employees Dice, especially when one of them feels the need to use my title in the casino as a threat." The devil gives a mischievous grin.

"The kid seems to have quite a bit of confidence, even after the incident.." Dice mutters.

"Let her learn some things here by herself Dice, sometimes that's the best way for people to understand how things work around here...."

(Somewhere else in the casino)-

(Y/n) plops down on a bench right outside the kitchen after delivering a giant pile of dirty dishes to the sink. A tune playing through the radio on the accent table on the opposite side of the hall.
