Chapter 1: Meet the Moto

We start off on a forest trail as an armored truck drove down a path. "Damn Midiki, this guy is insane, do we really need him? The four of us can handle this issue easily." Kojiro asked his friend in the driver seat. "Look 'Jiro, I am not blind to his...I will be nice and call it 'antics',  But I am positive of one thing: No one in all these lands has more combat ready capabilities than I do" Midiki answered with a slight bit of nervous sweat rolling down his forehead. "That the place?" Sarah asked from the backseat as we see a truly gigantic mountain "that is it, everyone out, we are here" Midiki confirmed as everyone got out and stretched. "Nice place, with how you described this man, I'd figured he would live somewhere awful, this's actually quite nice". Kitiara stated as she took in the lush green grass, the tall trees that blocked the sun beautifully, and the thriving wildlife. "The opening is this way, walk lightly, tread carefully, and stick to the shadows". Midiki explained as they entered the cave.  The cave was both dark and light at the same time, blood dripped from the ceiling as older stuff was on the walls, it gave a feeling of both great calmness, and great dread. "Now see, THIS is more along the lines of what I was imagining". Kitiara whispered as they treaded carefully, the feeling on unease not getting any lighter on 3 of the 4. "Midiki I'm telling you we don't need this...whoever or whatever it is, besides, even if it is in here, for all we know it could be dead!". Kojiro whispered through grit teeth as his friend gave a quiet chuckle. "Ya mean like that guy?", Sarah asked as she pointed to a skeleton slammed onto a stalagmite, an eye still dangling out of a socket as a sign was in its ribs saying 'Abandon all hope ye who enter here'.  "Hey look at that, he improved his calligraphy, proud of him". Midiki said casually as his friends paled at the disrespect to a victim via skele-sign, at that moment, a piano was heard playing, its melody echoing through the area. The noise only increased as they approached a lit area, filled with various forms of entertainment, two bone piles, a room like design, and a grand piano near a wall, sat playing was the man in question.  "That's the guy?" Sarah asked in a whisper "Yeah that's hi-Kojiro what are you doing?!?" Midiki answered and asked in a hushed tone as the swordsman approached the man at the piano. Kojiro drew his Bialo sword, the man still played, seemingly unaware of the danger, Kojiro swung and...hit the air where the man sat but vanished. Kojiro looked around the piano in confusion, only to turn and be face to face with the now leaning slightly man. "You interrupted my melody" the man said in a flat yet threatening tone "funny, I was thinking of playing one myself" Jiro responded, grip tightening on the sword "then by all means, begin".  Kojiro's sword would swing masterfully, yet his blade was stopped by a finger from the man. "Off key" the man would dryly quip, the swordsman swung again, yet the processes repeated for a minute, each block followed by a deadpan response "wrong pitch" "instrument is off" "you offend Mozart". Kojiro would grow more and more enraged as he leapt back and sheathed his sword, a glow was forming from the hilt and sheathe, "SONIKKU-" the man was cut off by a swift jab to the head, felling him in one go. An arrow would fly towards the man, only for him to lean forwards and catch Sarah's flying kick, spinning her around and tossing her into a wall, a crack was heard as the wall dented and she fell to the ground, yet still she stood up, cracking her back in the process. Kojiro slowly stood to his feet also, yet the man did not turn "you both possess impressive durability, everyone else that snuck in here died from either of those, I will remember you both after death as a slight more annoying  kill". He would raise an arm as if to prepare an attack until "MOTO STOP!!!", Midiki yelled as he ran over in a mad dash. "Midiki, why have you brought" Moto gave the air a quick sniff "three humans to my home?" he asked slowly. "Because (you nutcase) we need your help, the Phantoms are back" Midiki explained slowly and one part under his breath. Moto would just give a quick, hyena like, laugh "oh that's hilarious ol' friend, they've been heaven knows where for since the war, and even if they are back, I'm sure you and these three can handle them". Annoyed at his friends clear lack of care, Midiki would only groan and reply "Look you big green anoitos, these ones are stronger than the last ones, we could use you and Tempetes...wherever the underworld he is".  "Gone out...fine, I'll tag along, but I'll let him take my place if I stop giving a damn" Moto responded and declared. Cut to a rooftop in a town at night,  overseeing a bank. "so why exactly are we here?" Kitiara asked as a chewing sound was heard in the background "they intend to infect the currency subtly, poisoning residents and transforming them into their grunts" Midiki answered as the chewing continued. "Stealth is a good advantage to have then so going at night makes even more sense, too bad he's being loud" Sarah said as we finally see what the chewing sound was: Moto having a bag of chips. At that exact moment we see several eighteen wheelers pull up near the alleyway, several Phantom soldiers exited the truck and started marking on the wall directly below them. "Three. Two. One" Kojiro said as the 4 leapt down to deal with the enemies (Moto stayed on the roof), Kojiro struck down a dozen before they could react, Kitiara stealthily slayed her enemies, Sarah used them for target practice, and Midiki showed them how hot Olympian fire could get. Once the first wave was down, the other soldiers fused into a giant scraping the corners of the rooftops. "We can take it" Kitiara said as they readied their weapons, "hold, I want you all to see something" Midiki said with a grin as the giant got ready to swing a fist "ATTACK PATTERN: GRAVITY DISARM" Midiki shouted as the giant swung, in that second Moto leapt downwards from the roof, landing on the giants arm, taking it clean off. The giant grabbed its arm stump as it roared in agony, Moto simply stood there, finishing his chips as the three of the four looked dumbstruck at such casual brutality. "why is that an attack pattern?!?" Kojiro asked in alarm as Midiki and Moto shrugged "we like gravity disarm, catches people off guard" Midiki explained simply. As the giant stopped roaring it looked down at its attacker...and immediately paled at Moto who looked up at it "bye bye" Moto would raise his prosthetic arm upwards, splattering the giant as the shockwave split the clouds above the town, leaving it unharmed. Kojiro and Kitiara went through the truck (mostly to clear their heads) and they found a briefcase of blueprints "oh this isn't good" Kitiara said grimly as Sarah suddenly leaned forward from behind them, "yeah if we don't stop that this's gonna suck". "What did you all find?" Midiki asked as Moto ate the giants arm "blueprints for an Eclipse Generator in district Out-Back, this goes off they'll be even harder to beat, we should strike now" Kojiro explained as the Greek mans eyes widened. Moto would then open a portal, "I'm bored, let Tempetes help you all out", he leapt through as a tall Phantom super soldier leapt out "MIDIKI! how ya been ya ol' sonofagun? high five!" they both high fived.  "Ok are you serious? first you tell us you got someone that can help us, then you drive us to the woods, me and Sarah got beat up by that uchafu, then he leaves after a fight and sends a Phantom to help us out?? are you HIGH!?" Kojiro snapped in a rage filled with 'done with today' energy. "yeah sure talk about me like I'm not even here, screw the fact I've long since switched over to your guys side" Tempetes grumbled. "Look it is not that, it is just...I had not informed them that we had a Phantom on our side"  Midiki sheepishly explained. Tempetes would stand there, the sound of thunder rolling off the air, before he wrapped Midiki in a friendly headlock. "ahh c'mon ya knows I don't mind a bit of tension in a team, its where I came from hahahaha, whoever's in charge: lead the way!" he declared as he accidently tightened the headlock. Cut to the four on a mountain in the Out-Back district overseeing a large squadron of Phantoms building the Eclipse Generator. "Man I almost forgot how big those generators are, taking it out will be easy riding lightning" Tempetes whispered confidently as they started sneaking their way down, closer and closer til they were behind a large boulder. "On my mark, three...two...NOW!" at Kojiros word they leapt out and attacked swiftly. "ITS THAT TRAITORUS ONE! THE PRINCESS WILL BE PLEASED WHEN WE RETURN WITH HIS HEAD!!" the commander yelled before getting his head sliced off by one of Tempetes tendrils, "YOU ALL WANT ME?? COME GET ME!!" he then proceeded to decimate the remaining forces before a remaining soldier blasted him in the back with lightning...only for said soldier to turn pale as snow when Tempetes turned around and wagged a finger "say psych right now" was the last thing he heart before Tempetes slammed his fist through his heart. We see the trio slice and pierce their way up the generator "why...did they need to make this thing a hundred feet tall?" Kitiara asked as a sneak attack was foiled by a fireball from the ground via Midiki with a "bullseye!" heard after from Tempetes "lord only knows dear" Kojiro replied as Sarah tried entering codes. After a moment of fail she just yelled "SCREW IT!" as the three leapt off the machine, lifted it into the air and threw it upwards...only for it to suddenly explode, surprising them as a slow clap was heard behind them, turning around they would see Moto sitting on a few corpses with Midiki and Tempetes. "Congrats on not screwing up, humans" Moto said dryly as Tempetes gave the three a bear hug "this is gonna be great!, now all we need is a place to stay..." Midiki would slowly glance at Moto, who looked back before rolling his eyes "whatever, could use more company besides that mule anyways" he declared as a portal opened as they all walked through, the humans with caution, as this chapter comes to an end.
