(Elizabeth's Pov)
I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining through the bedroom window. I sighed and groaned as I turned the other way wanting to go back to sleep. I felt something warm and fuzzy beside me which I knew was Rai because duh. I smiled softly as I snuggled against his soft, warm fur. I pet him softly making him let out a sigh in content. He's a sucker for pets that's for sure haha.
I sighed a bit knowing I wasn't gonna be able to go back to sleep. I sat up bed and yawned as I rubbed my face tiredly. I looked at the time to see it was a little after 8am. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Rai who was sleeping peacefully. I pet his head "Rai, come on buddy, time to get up" I said, he growled a bit which made me chuckle. If this was anyone else waking him up oh boy would that someone else either be dead or in the hospital.
I pet Rai more before he fluttered his eyes open. I smiled softly "Morning buddy" I said, he growled a bit before yawning tiredly and stretching. I giggled and stretched too waking me up some more. I sighed as I looked around the room to see it was just me and Rai, assuming the others were probably with Ash, "Let's go check to see how the others are" I said,
Rai nodded as we eventually made our way out of bed before stretching once more. We headed out of our room and over to where Ash and probably the others were. I smiled to see that Pikachu was feeling better. I let out a sigh of relief as me and Rai headed over to them "good morning everyone. Pikachu I'm so glad you're doing much better" I said to him, he smiled a little weakly still "Nurse Joy said he should be discharged today but to not battle for a while" Ash said,
I nodded "So I guess that means we stay here for a little bit?" I asked, "Just until I can get my badge, yea" Ash said, I tilted my head a bit "You know you do have other pokemon to battle with right?" I reminded him, Pikachu stood up and shouted a bit which made me eyes widen "okay, okay I understand" I said putting my hands up in defense.
The others laughed a bit "How about some breakfast?" Brock suggested, of course Pikachu and Ash cheered as loudly as they could because they can eat anything and everything and still be hungry afterwards. I smiled and shook my head as we all headed to the small kitchen area in the back of the Pokemon Center. It wasn't insanely big or anything but it was cozy.
Ash and the others sent our their pokemon which made me do the same. They all headed out the backdoor and went to play while Brock and Misty got started on breakfast. Ash wanted to train but he knew he couldn't yet. I helped gather all the pokemon food together while Misty set the table. She looked outside and giggled "Oh man, I can't wait to get into the water today. Are you gonna join me Eli?" Misty asked, I smiled and shrugged, "Sure why not?" I said, she smiled and cheered with excitement.
I smiled and rolled my eyes as I got coffee started. Rai had sat outside and watched over the other pokemon who ran around and played. I giggled a little as I grabbed a mug and poured myself some coffee. After that, I walked outside and stood next to Rai "Protective I see?" I asked, he looked at me and growled a bit. I smiled and rubbed his face "Breakfast will be done soon" I said, he nodded,
