Slowly waking up, Ink stretched out his stiff bones, almost forgetting he's no longer under water, but remembering quickly when he almost fell out of his hammock.

"Woops, that could have ended badly." He laughed awkwardly. " Hey Reaper time to wake–" he glanced at the sirens sleeping hammock, only to find it empty."–up..." Ink pouted realizing the siren woke up earlier then him." Didn't even bother to wake me up... What if I slept in!?"

He quickly ran out of the sleeping quarters and to the cafeteria, praying he didn't miss breakfast. Entering through the door he sighed from relief when he saw it full of people like always.

Once he got his breakfast plate, Ink started to look for the siren. After some time he spotted Reaper talking with Killer, or rather Killer talking to Reaper who was eating his food and occasionally nodding or answering shortly before going back to eating.

Without hesitation, he made his way towards the two, and once Ink got closer, he noticed that they weren't sitting in their usual table, but a table that was closer to the corner with less people around. "Morning Killer, morning Reaper!" Ink greeted them once he was close enough.

Both look up at himand greeted him back." Morning Ink!" Killer spoke with a smile."did ya sleep well?"

"Morning." Reaper spoke before continuing to eat. He seemed normal, a bit tired like every morning.

"Yes, and you?" He asked them sitting down.

"Pretty good." Killer spoke and smiled." I had this dream where we found a cave filled with knives and spears and everything sharp, it seemed like there was no passage but we found a way to get through  all the sharp stuff and boobie traps and at the end of the cave there was this shiny chest! It was even glowing as if it's from the heavens! But when we opened it there was nothing but a bunch of fish bones." He sighed sadly." And then I woke up feeling disappointed."

Ink stared at him for a bit." That's uhh.. something." He really didn't know what else to say. Averting his eyes, he turned to look at Reaper." Did you dream of anything Reaper?"

Reaper froze for a moment before answering." Don't remember, probably nothing "

"I see.. welp, as long as you slept well!" Ink smiled and started to eat.

After they ate, they went up to the top deck to check their schedule. Everything was  similar to yesterday, some chores got swapped, some changed, but most importantly they both had a club activity today.

Ink beamed with excitement when he saw his name on Error club list. It was going to take place in Errors quarters after dinner. Same for Reapers reading club except that his will take pace in the ships library? He didn't know the ship had one. He'll ask Reaper about it after his club.

"I'm surprised you chose reading and writing." Ink spoke  before looking at his friend.

"What's so surprising about it?" Reaper asked and started to walk away from the board.

Ink slightly shrugged and started to follow." Just never thought you'd like them. I mean I saw you read on the ship that was more to understand the land dwellers wasn't it?"

"Yes, but I also want to expand my knowledge of the land dweller language.  And knowing how to read and write is very useful." Reaper explained.

"You do know land dwellers have multiple languages depending on which land they're from, right?"

"O-of course." Reaper looked slightly offended. He, in fact, did not know.

"Aha... " Ink decided to stay silent as they went to do their chores before a question came to him." Hey, did you ever go to school?"
