Chapter 6: Preparation

The following weeks were relatively calm or as calm after an all out gang war. Their territory was of course nice and calm for those that lived in it. Thus as Hector predicted minded their own business whenever they saw something sketchy.

With what remained of the other gangs were small or not a threat. The Vale Council was happy that the issue resolved itself but now the real challenge remained: Recruitment.

Adam would be a crucial part in his plans as without his support fighting a war against both Ozpin and Salem would be like trying to kill a Alpha Beowolf with a spoon, possible but extremely hard.

Currently Hector gathered both Roman and Neo in the basement to tell them what he was planning.... though it was more of a man cave if anything to much of Traya's dismay.

Sitting on a recliner with Neo sitting on the arm rest to the right of Roman joked.
"So what's the big plan? You going to try and take over Mistral with Adam?"

"..."

"Oh this is serious." Roman said in response to Hector's silent reply. Sitting up both Roman and Neo waited for Sidious to say something.

"Before I start explaining why I artificially created a gang war to take control of Vale's criminal underworld let me ask you this: During your stay at Mount Glenn did any Grimm oh I don't know sneak into your little base? Or did any Grimm attack you before the Fall of Beacon."
Hector asked to which Roman and Neo's mind then began to think.

"Other than the occasional Beowolf getting in not that much despite the place crawling with Grimm." Roman replied.

"What if I told you Cinder was indirectly responsible for that?" Hector added to which Roman asked in disbelief.

"Are you saying that she can control Grimm? If she could then why didn't she just send them in the masses?"

"What if I told you that there is currently a war that has been fought for nearly a thousand years?"
Hector said to which even Roman leaned foward and Neo looked at him with suspension. Hector then added while his hands behind his back.

"Personally me and Traya call her the Witch but in a more appropriate name would be... the Grimm Queen or her actual name: Salem.
And she has been working on taking down the entirety of Remnant."

"Hold let's rewind." Roman said rubbing the right side of his temple with his right hand while right hand was held up. Continuing to try and wrap his head around the concept said.

"So Cinder's boss is the queen of all Grimm but is more than likely already getting ready to attack another academy, which YOU are trying to stop???"

"Yes."

Taking out her scroll Neo typed out.

'You're genuinely crazy.'

To which Hector nonchalantly shrugged and said.
"Maybe but then again, there's not alot of profit in a dead world. Wouldn't you agree?"

Roman stayed quiet in response before glancing down at the floor. He was smart and cunning enough to avoid death and the authorities for the most part, however even he knew when not to gamble. Neo was uncertain about still following Sidious if he was going to war with the queen of all Grimm.

"And let me guess. Good ol' Ozpin told you?"
Roman asked.

"It was actually Traya but Ozpin isn't exactly sin free since he's been fighting her the longest." Hector replied which Neo typed out.

'Well duh because he's old.'

"Oh he's old but more older than you think because he's OLD old. How old? As old as Salem herself." Hector said amusingly before Roman then replied by saying.
