Dae-Jung's Point of View:

As I arrived to this stupid party, I still couldn't believe Elle agreed to come here with Mike. That was so out of character for her. I knew, she disliked parties and new people. Well, people in general, I guess. With her anxiety, I couldn't wrap my head around why she decided to come.

And to make it a billion times worse for me, these last few days Mike wouldn't shut up about it. Mike was a decent guy and I liked him, most of the time. He's much more pleasant than his witch of a twin. Still can't believe they are related.

But Mike being decent, didn't change the fact that he's a guy. And guys, in general, are idiots. I should know, since I'm one.

I just didn't want him anywhere near Elle.

She hasn't arrived yet, and I know it because I've been standing besides the front door since I came here. Sipping my drink, I tried to ignore all of the seductive looks these girls are giving me. I couldn't care less.

There's only one girl on my mind, and right then she walked in with Mike. A wave of jealousy runs through my entire body as Mike placed his hand on the small of her back. Hands to yourself, Thompson!

I can't have her see me, so I moved further away, but stayed close enough so I can look at her. She's simply beautiful. She's wearing a tight black dress that's hugging her way too small figure. Her hip bones are sticking out and her legs and arms are so thin, I was sure even a slight breeze would knock her delicate body down.

It's clear, that she's uncomfortable. Delilah must have forced her to wear something revealing and provocative like that dress and it's most likely from her closet instead of Elle's.

"Hi" a drunken girl said, clinging to my side.

I took a less than a second long glance at her and grabbed her arms so I could move away from her touch. Of course at that exact moment, I look up to meet Elle's rich brown eyes. Fuck. I know what this must look like. I quickly untangled myself from her sneaky hands and took few long steps towards Elle. But she had already turned away, walking hand in hand with Mike to the kitchen.

I couldn't handle seeing her with him. It actually hurts.

I need a smoke.

After a few cigarettes and pointless conversations with some nobodies, I decided to return inside and look for Elle. Time goes by so fast, it was almost midnight already.

I spot Fannie and Delilah right away in the middle of the dance floor, aka the apartment sized living room. I squeezed my way through sweaty bodies and tap the girls' shoulders.

"Dae-fucking-Jungyy" Delilah shouted over the crowd and music.

"Oh god, you're plastered" I said amused, "Where's Elle?"

"Right here!" Fannie said and turned around to point her, but she wasn't there, "She was right here".

"No, she left to get a drink" Delilah said.

"Right, that she did, yes, I remembered" Fannie tried to speak like she wasn't completely out of it.

"And how long ago was that?"

"Um, not more than five minutes ago" Fannie said confidently.

"More like thirty or forty minutes" Delilah said, immediately after, realisation hit her and suddenly she was as sober as ever. "Fuck, she left with Michael!"

Fannie sobered up enough to understand what might be happening. We all knew, Elle wouldn't just disappear with a guy. All it took was to look at each other's eyes, and we knew we had to find her, now. So we separated ourselves and started looking for her around the big mansion, that was Jonah's house.
