Chapter 38

I went downstairs as Angel showered. I got flashbacks of what we had just done. I never thought I'd beg anyone for anything but there she was having me beg to fuck her as I was on my knees. I've always been the dominant type in the bedroom not once have I submitted but anything for her. I would've done anything she had asked of me. I smiled to myself at the thought. I couldn't wait until she was my wife.

The movers were working downstairs setting everything up. I looked and saw Miles walking in with a bottle of Scotch.

"Toast?" He asked

I nodded. "What the hell" I said and he smirked

"What?" I asked him as we walked into my office area

"You have sex hair." Miles said "It guess it took you two no time to break in the house"

I looked in the mirror and fixed my hair.
"Shut up. What the wife wants, the wife gets." I said and he handed me a drink

"You won't miss the business? What are your plans?" Miles asked

"Im set for life with money. I was thinking of opening up a bookstore." I said and he looked shocked

"Oh really? That's dope man. I'll be sure to visit" He said and I nodded

"Giovanni" I heard Angel call my name and I went out there after downing my drink to see her in her robe hugging some guy

I felt my blood boiling and I stepped in between them slamming the guy into the wall. I held him by his collar and he struggled to breathe.

"Gio! Stop" She yelled

"Why are you touching her?" I asked him and I felt her hand on mine

"Let him go!" She yelled and I did. The guy dropped to the ground to catch his breath.

"Why was he touching you?" I asked her

"He's an old friend..well boyfriend" She said and I was furious "We went out for a couple of weeks then broke up."

The guy stood up and looked at me as if I was crazy.
I glared at him. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He was almost my height not as handsome of course.

"My question is still unanswered" I cross my arms

"Dylan this is my fiancé, Giovanni Romano" She said

"I would say nice to meet you but it wasn't" The guy said and I stepped closer but Angel stepped between us

"Dylan-" She said and he sighed

"Angela and I are just friends. We dated for a bit and decided to stay friends" He said "I'm sorry about your father Angela"

She smiled sadly. "Thanks Dylan."

"I was away when it happened. I would've been at the funeral if I could've" he said and she nodded patting his shoulder

"It's okay. I'm sure he knows you meant to be there." She said

"So fiancé huh?" He asked and I stood there glaring at him

"He's nice once you get to know him" Angel said and they laughed

"I'm sure -"

I hated every second of this. Soon I heard Miles call my name. I kissed Angel's head and walked off towards him.

"What?!" I asked annoyed

"Give them some space. You need to trust her." Miles said and I scoffed

"He's her ex. What is there to talk about?" I said leaning against the wall and crossing my arms. I looked at them talking and she was laughing. He smiled at her.

"They're catching up. Things like this happens." Miles said and I looked at him

"I trust her. I don't trust him. Plus she's practically naked. Wearing a robe and he hugged her" I said shaking my head

"It's probably nothing he's never seen before" Miles said and I looked at him feeling my blood boiling

"What man? He's her ex. He's had to see something." Miles added

"Stop talking before I choke you and then him." I said

Dylan hugged her again and his hand rested a little lower than last time and my jaw clenched. Fucking asshole. He looked at me once more and walked out smirking. I flipped him off. Angel got her duffle bag of clothes and went upstairs. I followed her upstairs and into our room. Our bed and everything had been put together. I leaned against the doorframe and she looked at me.

"Say it" She said

"What?" I asked

"Say what's bothering you" She said

"I know I was your first. But have you done anything else with anyone before me." I asked

"You mean with Dylan. You're asking if i've done anything with Dylan." She said and I sat on the bed

She straddled my lap and made me look at her. I couldn't focus with her body so close to mine. It's strange how she affected me still after all this time.

"Why? Are you jealous?" She asked smirking

My jaw clenched. "Answer my question" I said

"You want to know if he's tasted me? If i tasted him?" She whispered in my ear and I felt myself getting pissed

I held onto her chin making her look at me. "Angel.
Did you?" I asked and she looked at me in silence. She shook her head .

"No. We've only kissed" She said to me and I groaned

"Giovanni Romano. It was just kissing. Nothing else" She said

"I know. It doesn't make me want to kill him any less though." I said leaning my head against her forehead

"You were my first everything." She said "Dylan was a family friend. We thought it wouldn't be weird but it was, then we broke it off."

"The way he looked at you." I said and she shook her head

"It doesn't matter how he looks at me." She said and I ran my hands up her ass feeling myself get harder

"It does to me" I said squeezing her ass softly

"It shouldn't matter. You have me." She said "In a couple more weeks, forever"

"I want to get married right now" I said and she smiled

"You can wait a couple weeks baby. Can you?" she asked

I groaned. "I want you to be my wife now." I said

"How will that change anything?" she said laughing

"Because I can call you Mrs. Romano and lock all the doors and have you all to myself. Nothing with the business and nothing concerning anything else but us. I wanna lay in bed all day with you in my arms and watch movies and read while I hold you with a glass of scotch in my hand. Then when I'm done reading, fuck you until you lose your voice and you go to sleep in my arms. And the best part about all that is we can do it all over again the next day." I said and she stared at me with a smile tugging at her lips

"I'm so lucky to have you." She said and I smiled

She made me feel so wanted and loved. I've never been this happy in my entire life.
