 The following day after Bree learned the truth she approached John she wanted to know why he had never done anything knowing how Grayson and Miranda treated her, "Uncle J?"

"What is it Aubrey?" it was just Aubrey, John, and JJ, in the house right now Elena was out with Bonnie and Caroline they were trying to distract her from the deaths of her parents and Jenna had a meeting for her college class.

"Okay so since you told me everything last night, I've just been wondering and I knew that asking would be the only way to know the answer so here we are... with you knowing the way they treated me... being my biological father you could have done something about it why didn't you?"

John sighed he should have expected this line of questioning and if he were being honest he didn't know, "Honestly I don't know Aubrey there were times that I questioned it after you would spend time with me but it was like after you were out of my sight it would just slip my mind... I do remember now that I spoke to Grayson about it once and then after that is when that started happening."

Bree scoffed, "Honestly I told Jay last night that I wouldn't be surprised if Grayson had done something that would prevent it and it's looking like that is exactly what happened."

John was quiet for a moment as he thought about what Bree had said and he definitely would not have put it past his older brother. "well you certainly have a point, I wouldn't put it past him."

Satisfied with the answers from John, Bree said goodbye to him and made her way back to her bedroom where her boyfriend was waiting. "okay so it seems that I was right and Grayson had something to do with why John never did anything about the whole situation." He nodded at her before wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his embrace, while he listened to her tell him all about her conversation with John.

few days later John stopped Bree as she was headed back to her room from the kitchen and pulled her to the side, and spoke to her quietly so as to not be overheard by unwanted ears, "So I've spoken to Isobel, and she's agreed to meet you."

Bree smiled "Really?"

John nodded, "Really, she said she'd come up Saturday and would meet with you for lunch." Bree was happy that Isobel had agreed to meet her, "and yes before you even ask JJ can come with you if you want him to."

Bree snorted, but grinned, "You knew I was going to ask..."

John nodded at her, "Of course I did, the two of you have been practically attracted at the hip from what I have seen, so I figured you would ask if he could come along to the meeting, so I asked Isobel, who said it was fine."

Aubrey hugged him, "Thanks Uncle J... though I have been thinking, and I say we tell Jenna the truth or just let me do it or whatever so that way when Elena inevitably finds out that Jenna won't feel so betrayed that nobody told her... because she's bound to find out at some point after Elena does."

John thought about what she said and then nodded in agreement, "It would definitely be better... that woman is scary when she truly gets angry. I've only seen it one time and I never want to go through it again..." the man shudders as he remembers that moment. "After you're meeting with Isobel you can tell Jenna the truth."

Bree nodded, "All right then." then she headed back to her room where JJ was waiting on her, she had just gone to the kitchen for a couple of bottles of water and was on her way back when John stopped her. "So Isobel has agreed to meet me, and we are meeting her for lunch Saturday and you can come along if you want, Uncle J asked because he knew that I would ask if you could come and Isobel said it was fine."
