I realized I had been staring at him for too long.
I walked away slowly, trying not to make a noise while staring at Kiyoomi.
The bags were neatly stocked on the edge, so I just carried my bag because it might make noise if I pulled it.
But when I was about to open the door again, I heard Kiyoomi move from his bed.
"Where exactly do you think you're going?" He asked.
When I looked at him, he was rubbing his eyes. "I didn't want to disturb you so." I dropped my heavy luggage on the floor and pulled the handle up. "Uhm, we just finished dinner. Do you want me to heat food for you?"
"I'm not hungry." He said before standing up from his bed and wearing his indoor slippers.
I stared at him bewildered... "You're a professional athlete, Kiyoomi! You can't skip meals, and it's also part of your training."
He didn't say anything and just stared at me while walking closer. I tried not to break the contact and waited for him to get closer, only to hold my right hand holding the handle of my luggage.
"You can sleep here." I was left silent as he returned my bag to where it was before. "The other side of my cabinet is empty, and you can hang some of your clothes there, especially your dress for tomorrow." He walked to his tall cabinet and opened the other side, where only hangers and a green towel were.
"But where will you sleep?" I walked close to my dress, still in its oversized box, to hang my fit for tomorrow.
"Here." I very much expected that as an answer. But I have never slept in one room with him, I mean sleeping.
"What? On the same bed? Us?" I asked nervously, not knowing how to accept that we may sleep on one bed.
"I requested another cushion, you take the bed, I'll sleep on the floor." Oh.
I tried not to look disappointed. I don't even know why I'm disappointed! I turned around and pretended that I was busy with my clothes.
"But your shoulder, Kiyoomi. I can sleep on the floor." I worried he might strain his shoulder because I let him sleep on the floor.
"The cushion is as thick as the cushion on the bed. Don't worry. Besides, how can I let the princess sleep on the floor?"
Princess.
Princess??? When did Kiyoomi and Motoya last address me, Princess, as a joke? Yeah, five years ago.
I nodded.
While fixing my clothes in the cabinet, Kiyoomi took a bath already. Thinking that there's only a door separating us, him naked, makes my whole face heat up.
I took out my pouch where my skincare and makeup were sat in front of his vanity and started getting rid of my makeup.
Kiyoomi got out of the bathroom after almost 30 minutes, fully clothed, with wet hair, and his towel hanging around his neck.
"You can use the soap, shampoo, and conditioner there if you didn't bring yours. The green towel is here for your use." I tried to avoid his gaze, embarrassed that I thought of him naked just a few minutes ago. I said nothing as I took my pre-prepped clothes and ran to the bathroom.
