3 weeks later.

"Phoebe Mathis you've been cleared, congrats. Thought you wouldn't make it huh?" Dr. Finley smiles at her. He was an old man, he had the whole shebang. White hair, wrinkles near his eyes, lips, and forehead.

She was in the hospital, sitting on a hard bed. The ones that have paper on top of them so every move you make, there's crinkly noises.

"But I made it, it's been been difficult these past 3 weeks though" she says, giving him a weak smile.

"Well it's hard to leave your home when you have to walk with crutches" he says, looking at a clipboard.

"That's not what I meant, but let's go with that" she mumbles.

*3 days earlier*

"Thanks for meeting me here" Tucker says with a forced smile.

"Yeah no problem" Victor responds, taking a seat right across from him.

Eden Cafe. The perfect place to take someone on a first date or in Tucker and Victor's case to talk about a missing detective.

"Do you have any idea where she might be? She's not in her apartment or her mother's" Tucker asks with worried eyes.

"I checked Nick and Shannon's apartment. I have no idea where she might possibly be Tucker, sorry man" he responds.

Tucker sighs deeply in response.

"Your vanilla cappuccino sir" a beautiful blonde waitress purrs.

"Thank you" Tucker says, again forcing a smile.

"Would you like anything sweet pea?" she asks, looking at Victor with flirty eyes.

"No I'm good" he says, turning his attention back to Tucker.

The waitress smacks her lips to his response before walking away.

"Have you checked her sister's apartment?" he asks.

"Yes" Tucker quickly responds.

"Have you checked Gordon's apartment?" he asks almost immediately.

"Yes"

"Have you checked Cole's apartment?"

"Yes"

"Have you checked Sergeant Rivers apartment?"

He pauses for a moment, "No damn, she might be there too since she would've never expected us to look there. C'mon Victor."

Meanwhile, Shannon is doing an investigation of her own. She is sitting on her bed with her laptop on her lap doing some early morning research.

"Matching the face from the security camera footage to an actual person has been difficult" she mutters, closing her laptop.

She looks over to her alarm clock, the clock reads 8:03 a.m. Then she looks at a picture of Phoebe and her hugging under cherry blossom trees.

"Phoebe...where are you?" she whispers, tossing her laptop onto her bed.

Time to get ready for work, she thinks to herself.

Tucker and Victor have made their way to Sergeant Rivers apartment and are standing outside of her door.

"This is her apartment? It's so...fancy" Victor awes, looking around the hallway.

"I'll knock" Tucker offers, proceeding to knock.

An awkward 30 seconds of silence later.

The door slowly opens and behind the door is a half tired Sergeant in a white robe. Her brown hair is in rollers and her pale skin is makeup-less and you can see the lines of aging on her face perfectly.
