Chapter 15 - Work Crazy

Phoebe and Shannon look at Nick in complete shock.

"I can explain-" he begins to say, looking at a pissed off Phoebe.

"Just tell us if you're in the Backstabber or not because I'm quite frantically 100% done with you" Phoebe spats.

"Phoebe, give me 5 minutes to explain -"

"2 minutes" Phoebe interrupts - running low on patience.

"I went to give Cole a visit about what happened last night with you and him wanting to interfere. I wanted to set the record straight" Nick begins to explain.

"How did you know that Cole works in the Bradford Enterprise Inc building?" Shannon chimes in.

"It's the Bradford Enterprise building for god's sake and there's a police database for a reason Shannon. C'mon let's use our brains a little" Nick replies.

"Don't talk to my best friend like that. Nick you're down to about a minute" Phoebe growls.

"I talked to Cole about last night and how I would arrest him if he tried to prevent me from taking you back into safety again. He nodded his head basically coming to an agreement. We were in that woman's office, Camilla Lockett. I think before I entered he was flirting with her but after I left the office and proceeded to the elevator I saw a woman with a black hoodie walk by. I couldn't make out her face since the doors were closing and her black hoodie covered her face. But it was definitely a woman, she had female assets" Nick rushes to explain, catching his breath.

"I believe you" Phoebe sighs.

"So there's two of them?" Shannon says with widen eyes.

"Yes, because the guy Tucker and I witnessed didn't have female assets. He was built like a man and now we have one built like a woman" Phoebe concludes.

"So these fingerprints aren't going to help us" Mr. Lowell says, putting the two pictures into a shedder.

Shannon whips out her phone and proceeds to text Victor.

"Victor can help us, he'll hack into the Bradford Enterprise cameras for us"

"Ah good point, and where exactly is Victor right now?" Phoebe questions.

"With Tucker at the station. Do you want to head over there right now?" she offers.

"No, you can go. I've done enough walking for today, I'll be staying here for a bit" she denies her offer.

Shannon nods her head, "I left your shopping bags by the door."

Shannon's platform heels clack as she walks out of the room.

"Are you staying here?" Nick asks.

"Mhm" her reply was.

"Are you mad at me?" Nick questions her attitude.

"Mhm" she repeats.

"I'm outta here then" Nick says as he proceeds to the door.

"No, we need to come up with a plan. There's two figures involved. Which would mean that they alternate with the killings. But how can we catch both of them at the same time?" she calls out.

"I thought you were mad, now you want my help?" he smirks.

"I'm putting my feelings on hold right now. So...?" she says, waiting for an answer.

"Maybe we can send someone to Central Park and try to lure out the killer that way" he suggests.

"Nope never mind you can leave. You have been dismissed" she shoos, obviously not agreeing to his plan.
