-Kayla's P.O.V.-
A week has passed. No calls, no texts, no trying to find me, no nothing. It's like Jason just stopped caring. Maybe he has a new capture already. Just the thought of it makes me ill. I've hardly done anything since I've been here. I will not get out of bed unless if it is to go to the bathroom or eat comfort food. I've been living off an ice cream diet. Is it healthy for the baby? No. But do I really care at the moment? No.

I was scrolling through Netflix to catch up on reruns of "One Tree Hill." I looked at the time. It was 9:07 am. My stomach was dying for some food. Luckily, Justin's gang always buys sweets more than regular dinning food. I climb out of bed and make my way down the stairs. I heard the sizzling of bacon and the pots banging. Flash was on the couch, watching television.

"Hey, who's cooking?" I asked.

He gazed up at me.

"Dash, but don't expect anything good. He's not exactly a cook." He chuckled as he took the last bite from his ice cream.

"Is that the last ice cream?" I exclaimed, starting to panic.

"Yep." He smirked, popping the "p."

My hands balled up into fist. Who does he think he is? Ever since I've been here, he's been doing little stuff to get under my skin. Justin said if any of them do anything, tell him. But Justin is going through his own personal hell so I refuse to bother him. Well, that was, until now.

"I'm telling Justin." I smirk as I start to run up the stairs when I was yanked back down by someone grabbing my hand.

I turn to face Flash. We didn't say anything as I was memorized by his blue orbs staring down at me. Since I was so short, I just couldn't help but look up at him. We didn't even realize our hands were intertwined until Flash awkwardly pulled away.

"Oh, um.." Flash trailed off, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah.." I trailed off with a nervous giggle.

"Breakfast is ready!" Dash called out as he walked into the living room.

Me and Flash look over at Dash who was smirking.

"I'm sorry, but did I interrupt something?"

"No!" Me and Flash said in sync.

Dash just kept smirking.

"Whatever you guys say."

We walked inside the kitchen to grab some food. I looked over the burnt eggs, bacon, and toast. I'm trying to be polite and not say anything negative, but Flash beat me to it.

"What the fuck is this?" Flash exclaimed.

I did my best to hold in my laughter. Dash glared at Flash.

"Food, you dumbass. You're lucky I even made you anything." Dash growled.

Flash shoved the plate full of food into Dash's chest.

"Next time, don't bother." He mumbled into his ear before walking off. We watched as he walked away.

"What's his problem?" Dash asked me.

I shrugged.

"I honestly don't know."

-Jason's P.O.V.-

I knew Kayla has been gone for awhile now. Should I be chasing after her? Yes, but this was bound to happen. Her pregnancy is finally getting to me. I cannot trust anybody anymore, not even myself. My head pounded everyday with my own personal demons and the only thing that numbs the pain is drowning myself in alcohol.
